About this property

Unplug & Unwind @ The Manning Park Hideaway! πŸŽΏπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Located in the Cascade Mountains at the east entrance to Manning Provincial Park, this all-season getaway is only 2.5 hours from Vancouver. The area enjoys dry, warm summers and snowy alpine winters. Manning Park remains the most accessible and diverse outdoor destination in southwest British Columbia. It's a short walk to the Similkameen River and the Pasayten Wilderness Area and surrounding Crown lands from your door.

We have a 10 year old rancher style cabin with 3 Bdrms. 2 full baths (4 queen sized beds) on 1/2 acre in a Riverside subdivision at East Gate. Emphasis on outdoor living with covered decks and a lounge patio with comfy furniture, hot tub, propane fire pit, (no outdoor wood-fire/burning allowed) dartboard and foosball table. We love the nature setting and alpine fresh air here. Come unplug & unwind! You might meet our resident chipmunks and bluejays while you enjoy morning coffee on the deck.

Cozy retreat
4 moms enjoyed away for a much needed break from day to day life. The house is a short drive to Manning Park Lodge. Great hiking trails nearby. Kitchen was well stocked and the beds were clean and comfortable

Perfect place for a peaceful getaway
The Manning Park Hideaway is the kind of place that you settle right into and don’t want to leave. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you can imagine needing; the beds are all incredibly comfy and cozy; the hot tub and outdoor furniture around the fireplace are under cover and perfect for relaxing in the evening, no matter the weather; there is the biggest selection of games and dvds for family time! The neighbourhood is forested and quiet and a very short walk to the Similkameen River, which is absolutely lovely. A truly wonderful spot.

Quaint getaway from the city life with home comforts
Overall my family and I enjoyed our brief stay. Friendly little area that is 15 minutes away from the main Manning Park. Full home with 2 queen beds and a double bunk bed with all the amenities you could ask for. Has rustic appeal but modern. Use of a hot tub was much appreciated to relax. Canco gas station and store nearby, but limited hours. Place is for sale, so if you stayed before and liked it and have $600K, buy it! Only qualm was that the BBQ was very dirty and even on a low setting, the BBQ burnt our food within minutes of being on with very high flames.

Four sister’s together!
We found the house and rooms, cozy and comfortable! We felt right at home instantly! We were fortunate to have had perfectly warm sunny weather! The owners gave us tips and suggestions, re: hiking and canoeing around the area, and the lake! They informed us of the games they had on hand, plenty of towels, what extra items the kitchen was stalked with! Beds and rooms were truly comfortable. We needed to do nothing more than to relax and have fun! And we did! Thank you Shannon an Mitch.
