The Manor at Hunter Ridge Estate is a beautiful destination. This historic Virginia family home and farm is situated on a 500-acre private estate.

Enjoy 360-degree views of the ridges of the breath-taking Allegheny Mountains and the foothills of the world-famous Blue Ridge Mountains of the Shenandoah Valley, as you relax in our charming 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home.

Hunter Ridge Estate is just minutes from the Cities of Staunton and Waynesboro.
As a historic manor home, you'll be greeted with a touch of days gone by. From the moment you drive up to Hunter Ridge Estate, you'll be in awe of the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley as you soak up the mountain views that surround you.

Hunter Ridge Estate is a "working farm with southern charm", on a 500-acre private estate that's located just minutes from top destinations such as the American Shakespeare Center and the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, Virginia and the Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro, Virginia. Entry points into the world-famous Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway are easily accessible. Shopping and dining opportunities await you in the nearby cities of Staunton and Waynesboro. Hunter Ridge Estate is also about an hour's drive from the cities of Charlottesville and Harrisonburg.


All bedrooms feature gas fireplaces and beautiful, craftsman trimmings.

The home also includes a fully-functional kitchen with a large supply of basic pantry items and a beautiful dining room.

The living area features a large, flat-screen television, large windows full of natural light, and comfortable, stylish furniture. There is an additional sitting area that's perfect for relaxing in front of the fireplace and enjoying a good book.

The grand staircase and balcony are highlights of the home's interior; and the southern front porch sets the tone of a proper Virginian, southern home that invites you to sit down, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature that surrounds you.

Beautiful scenery, a lovely and well appointed house, a great family getaway weekend.

There was plenty of room to be together or to be by yourself. I love "old" houses, and this one was full of charm and character. Yet, the amenities were modern, and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook and share meals and memories.

A bit of peace with amazing views.

This is an old farmstead house that has been meticulously renovated and modernized. The setting is about 25 minutes outside a city in the Shenandoah Valley, nestled in a valley, and with views of the Allegheny mountains. This is for you if you crave peace, quiet, rural life, and breathtaking views yet with many living amenities.

Great Family Get Together

The actual property exceeded what was advertised or described. Truly situated on a working farm with cows and spectacular scenery all around. Great place to explore Staunton and surrounding areas and look forward just to hanging out on the patio after a busy day.

Lovely and peaceful

Such a beautiful property and house. There is just one lane for cars and no traffic so it was a perfect location to have kids and pets. Our kids loved playing outside in the yard. The house was spotless and so impressive. We hope to get back again someday!

The house and property was very nice. A quiet peaceful place to stay. The home is decorated with antiques and modern furniture. Very comfortable! There’s also a cute outdoor cat who wants some loving when ever you come to the doorway.

A Historic Gem with Unbeatable Views!

This charming, historic home offers an absolutely breathtaking view in every direction! At first, we were concerned about the warmth upon arrival, but the window units cooled the space much faster than expected. While one bedroom lacked a window unit, keeping the doors open across the foyer worked well, and the floor fan was a great help in circulating the cool air.Upstairs, there are two bathrooms with a somewhat unconventional layout—understandable given the home's age and the addition of modern amenities. One bedroom does not have direct access to a bathroom, requiring passage through one of the other two bedrooms. Downstairs, the first-floor bedroom is located on the opposite corner of the house from the main bathroom.A small note of caution: the doorway transitions could pose a trip hazard, especially for older guests. In our group of six, three were over 80, so we were mindful of this while moving about the house.The kitchen is compact but more than functional, with ample space available in the dining and family rooms. The Wi-Fi worked exceptionally well, and we had no issues with hot water throughout our stay.Overall, we absolutely loved this place! The view alone makes it unforgettable, and to top it off, we had the pleasure of meeting the friendly owners as they worked around the area.

It was absolute perfection!

We loved the home and the decorations were incredible. The whole house just felt cozy. Every little thing was well thought out, the dog crate and dog bed to the extras in the kitchen made our stay more comfortable. The grounds were perfectly kept and the view was incredible! So glad we chose Hunter Ridge for our time in Virginia. Thank you for all you do!

Loved everything about it

We took a three day weekend to visit with friends. The place was spacious and pet friendly---everything was amazing. We got around 6 inches of snow overnight which caused a brief power outage that morning, but our hosts came to make sure everything was ok (they were, plenty warm with gas fireplaces), and made sure we had food and brought hot coffee. We would love to stay again!

This is the farm stay you've been looking for!

We stayed on the farm for 3 nights in the middle of October and could not be happier! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you could ask. The outdoor fire pits and patio allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather and views of the rolling hills, lush green pasture, and fall foliage during our stay. Thoughtful touches were found everywhere throughout the house. We are already planning our next visit!

Can’t say enough great things!

I highly recommend Hunter Ridge Estate. The property and home are gorgeous. They have thought of everything! The rooms are huge, comfortable beds, they had a pack and play and high chair and dog bed, which all came in handy for our family. If you are seeking a beautiful retreat you need to check this place out. I also felt the price was very reasonable for all the amenities. Lastly, it’s a great place for weddings.

We rented Hunter Ridge for the use of our nieces and nephews who traveled to the area for a family reunion. It extremely spacious, the rooms are beautifully appointed, & it easily accommodated all of the comings and goings of assorted family members. The property is absolutely outstanding & the views of the mountains are beyond words. The outdoor patio and expansive grounds & fire pit are conducive to lawn games, al fresco dining, & socializing. The hosts are very responsive.
