Fun time in Cape Coral
We stayed for 1 week during spring break (over the Easter holiday). We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, spent many nights swimming, grilling out and enjoying the wonderful weather. We saw a dolphin in the canal on our 2nd night. The kids enjoyed the room with the bunk beds. There were plenty of DVDs for them to watch. There were also many games to play. We took advantage of using the beach gear and headed to the beach on 3 different days. It was nice to have access to the beach chairs, wagon and cooler. It made the beach all that much more fun. Our friends live close by, so they came by as well, but we also took advantage of cool restaurants in the area. We had sushi at Yellowtail. We also headed up to Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach as well as Naples. We had a full week of fun!
Just a few things to mention that could help the owners improve the guest experience -- Our check in time was 4pm on Friday 4/15. The housekeeper was still there mopping, at 5pm when we arrived. However, she left about 15 after. There were some issues with some of the outlets. The bathroom outlets and outside outlets did not work. The microwave and the kitchen lights had a bit of a mind of their own. We tried working microwave several times, wouldn't work, then tried again and it was fine. The lights in the kitchen kept flickering when we were making dinner. We contacted the property manager about it and it seemed as if an electrician came and fixed some of the issues while we were at the beach. Then, on our last day in the property we hoped to sleep in a bit but, another electrician knocked on the door at 7am when we were still sleeping to fix the remaining issues. He came back after we checked out. All in all, it was a wonderful time.
