Great location near beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room is cute, but we found the bed a bit cramped. It’s up against a wall and very close to the other. The top sheet was extremely scratchy, like it was starched. There is a very nice sitting area with a roof near the beach.A couple of odd things: when I poured water from the carafe into the coffee pot, it cracked and dripped, with the lip area falling off. I didn’t bother management at the time because I travel with a spare. Our second night a fire broke out in an underground gas main, and the building next to ours was evacuated, and since our room was pretty close to the fire we went to a friend’s house. I was a little surprised that the unit was at the road end of the property, not the gulf side. So we couldn’t see the ocean from our room.

Bathroom needs major upgrade, very nasty! Floors could use a better cleaning. Bed was hard and small. Nice location. Quite beach.

Cute Room

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice stay, but the bed was not good. It’s positioned up against wall so that you must crab crawl out towards foot of bed or climb over your sleeping partner to get out. Very hard for 60 yr old. It’s a full bed so it was very tight squeeze. Woke with backache staring at concrete wall. Other than bed situation, everything was good. Fair price for 4th of July week & oceanfront.

2nd annual sea rocket trip

This was our 4th visit to Madeira beach and our 2nd time staying at the sea rocket. It’s a nice little set up and a great location. You’re less than a 10 minute Uber ride to the grocery store and touristy shopping-you could even take the trolly all the way up to clear water or down to St Pete. The trolly stop is right out front. The beach is perfect and gets busy from 12-4 and then suddenly everyone heads out. Great sunsets and you always meet fellow travelers.
