2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with Mountain, Bay and Golf course views.
We are an adventurous couple who have been visiting Kauai for over 25 years. We appreciate exploring new places, great artists, chefs and homes that tell a story. We hope you find our villa's story as comfortable and relaxing as we do.
Jodie purchased this Villa in 2016
Why Jodie chose Princeville
We wanted to gut a condo and create something special. When we walked in and saw the views, the location in the tree line, and the proximity to the beaches we knew this was the one. It had not been lived in for 7 years and we took advantage of the opportunity.
What makes this Villa unique
There's a great path next to the St. Regis leading down to the beach and a stairway across the street leading to another called Hideaways. Both have great surf and, in the summer when there's less surf, snorkeling. Within 5 miles you can drive to Anini for amazing snorkeling, or SUPing and it's a quiet gem of an area. One of our favorite walks is the beach at Hanalei. From the pier to the end and back is about 3 miles.

This house is as beautiful as in the pictures. Clean, bright, tons of light. Great to wake up every morning to sunlight over the mountains (from bed!) Gorgeous view and breeze from patios. Hot when initially entering (no A/C) but as soon as opened windows and turned on fans was very comfortable. Kitchen well-stocked. Location good with included parking, and near Hideaway beach path for late afternoon sunsets and swim. Would love to stay again.
Amazing property and amenities
My husband and I had an amazing first trip to Kauai. Jodie and Greg have the perfect getaway spot in a premium location. The condo is across from Hideaways Beach and just next door to the Princeville Resort. We enjoyed great jogs daily down a convenient jogging path, and we made several trips to Queen’s Bath just up the road. We relaxed at Hideaways, drove to Hanalei for a few dinners and adventures, and we dined at the Makana Terrace. Jodie was a very responsive host and really attends to questions and needs. We can’t wait to return to the same spot when we travel to Kauai again!
Beautiful villa with gorgeous views
We had a wonderful time staying at Jodie and Greg’s villa in Princeville. It was a wonderful location, close to North Shore activities and restaurants (we had really great meals at Kilauea Fish Market and Palate Wine Bar both in Kilauea).
The Villa is beautifully decorated and has amazing views of the mountains (and you can even see Hanalei Bay). We had one rainy day, and it was so nice to sit on one of the balconies, reading a book and just listening to the rain fall in that gorgeous setting. The villa is a stand alone, and there was little noise from nearby neighbors so it felt very secluded. Jodie was very communicative and responsive when I had a question. The kitchen is well stocked and there are beach chairs, mats and snorkel gear available. All in all we had a wonderful time and highly recommend this villa!
We will differently stay at this property again. Beautiful view and wonderful property!
Perfectly appointed spot in paradise
This is a well supplied, decorator's dream of a townhouse. There is ample room for a family or group of four, especially with twin beds in the 2nd bedroom and 2 full and one 1/2 bath. Everything is just perfect. As is the norm in No. Kauai it is not air conditioned but is outfitted with very effective fans and the weather often delivers strong breezes and cool nights. The unit was provided in excellent condition, including cleanliness, comfort, full kitchen tools and beach gear. Because it is a stand alone townhouse you do not hear your neighbors! The views from the back porches is what you see in the picture. Just dreamy and serene! This location is across the street from Hideaways Beach access, which is a world class snorkeling location with a comfortable beach, having a mix of sun and shade and tree swings for kids. The access, however, requires sturdy beach sandals and some muscle and guts to navigate. Don't try to carry too much down, you'll need both hands to use supplied hand rails and ropes. It is also next door to Princeville Resort and a public beach with access, also a significant up/down hill but otherwise easy, paved path. We split our time between Hideaways and Hanalei Beach easily from this vrbo. We recommend Chicken in a Bucket for take-away (amazing) smoked chicken and luau pork, and food trucks for fresh juices and the best poke bowls ever (next to Hanalei's grocery store). Parking is not as difficult as you think in Hanalei Beach. Be patient, and a spot will open up. Recommend sun bathing, swimming, surf lessons and boogie boarding at that beach, snorkeling will not disappoint at Hideaways (early morning is best for less current in May). Mahalo to our hosts. It's been a pleasure staying here. More relaxing and special than I can relay. This was our second stay, and hopefully not our last.
This property is magic. Stunning views from all windows, you feel like you’re in a treehouse in paradise. Private, beautifully and artfully decorated...all the details were so special. Amazing giant scrabble too! Very cozy. Many spots to relax in. The kitchen was a dream to cook with all you need provided. Bed was really comfortable, a very short walk to the Princeville property, perfect for sunset and hideaways beach right across the street so you don’t have to deal with parking! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
The villa is located next door to the St. Regis hotel, overlooking Hanalei Bay and the Princeville golf course. The Princeville shopping center has a number of stores including grocery, restaurants, banks, etc. Hanalei is a 10 minute drive.
