Hellgate Unit I is a High Altitude Mountain Gem between Alta and Snowbird. This 2 bedroom condo offers 1,250 square feet of living space all on one level. Your party of up to 8 people will enjoy complimentary ski shuttle service to either Alta or Snowbird, a community hot tub, coin-operated laundry facilities, two world-famous ski resorts within two miles, and private bathrooms in both bedrooms!

SHUTTLE ACCESS TO ALTA AND SNOWBIRD
The shuttle stop is located just outside the entrance to the Hellgate Buildings. The complimentary shuttle to both Alta and Snowbird runs daily from the last week of December to the first week of April.

INTERLODGE
Interlodge is a restriction on outdoor travel and activity ordered by the Alta Town Marshall. The Marshal's office, and/or Snowbird Safety, may require, at any time, that guests stay indoors until avalanche control and road danger is mitigated. Sometimes it involves the whole Alta/Snowbird area and sometimes just certain sections in the canyon. The Alta Town Marshall and Snowbird Safety work hard to keep everyone in the area safe with little disruption to outdoor recreation. These events are beyond our control in our winter playground. Usually, avalanche work commences in the early morning hours and is completed before the resorts open - but there are occasions when interlodge can be put into effect during the day and guests can be housebound for longer periods of time.

Fantastic

Fantastic place, perfectly situated between Alta & Snowbird. Beautiful views of Snowbird. We could look out the window in the morning and just before dusk and see skiers skinning up mount superior and floating down on fresh powder. So cool. Great staff, big rooms, indoor parking. Definitely planning to return next year!

Family Ski Trip

Property was very nice for a weekend ski trip with the family. We always enjoy condos with a kitchen instead of hotel rooms and this did not disappoint. Plenty of space, nice cozy living room and bedrooms, and beautiful views from every room. The location good in that it was directly in between Alta and Snowbird and was just a short shuttle ride to either resort. The condos are on a steep slope so there are many flights of stairs to get back and forth, but that is the only downside. Overall a great option.

Friendly Staff and Great Location

Friendly Staff and Great Location! If you are serious about skiing at Alta/Snowbird, you want to be up in the canyon. This is a nice property and located in a good location. Not quite ski-in and ski-out, but the resort shuttle system takes good care of you in getting to either resort in very little time. If you arrive with enough groceries, you shouldn't need your car the whole time up there. One note, though, guests should be physically fit - there are plenty of stairs and no elevators! Staff was super helpful, and even helped us carrying belongings to our unit upon arrival. Ski lockers at main lobby level make for an easier trek each ski day.

Great location

Spent the weekend here enjoying Snowbird Resort. We spent each day hiking and used the property as home base. It was very clean, lovely views, and close to everything. Would not recommend it for ADA friends (lots of stairs) but other than that it was extremely convenient.
