About this property

Sunsets - Culburra Beach
Our waterfront property at Culburra Beach overlooking Curleys Bay and just a 100 metre walk to the beach and less than a kilometre to Culburra shops and boat ramp.
Sunsets at Culburra is the ideal getaway for romance, adventure, and relaxation, your place to reconnect.
We also have our two pets - Baldur the 13 year old Beagle and Poppy the young rag doll cat. Both of them will happily introduce themselves to you during your stay, but if you don't want their affections in your living space, a gentle reminder will shoo them away from your accomodation.
Your self contained two-bedroom accommodation is located on ground floor (we live upstairs) with views across our native gardens to the firepit, the boatshed and on to Curleys Bay.
Sleeping 4 with ample off-street parking, (even room to park your boat), our centrally located home is perfectly positioned for people who love watersports, beach walks, cycling, boating with magnificent sunsets to end each day. You may even enjoy our spa for $20 extra per stay.
You have direct access to Curleys Bay for kayaking, paddleboarding or windsurfing if you want to bring your gear along.
Plus the added benefit of being only 40 minutes from Jervis Bay with all of the cosmopolitan attractions, tours and scenery to enjoy.
Back at Sunsets, you have two bedrooms (one with built-in wardrobe) with queen beds, bedside tables, ceiling fans.
Your living room has beautiful views, a smart TV, stereo, air conditioning, ceiling fan and opens to the peaceful gardens and lawns down to Curleys Bay.
The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker, hot plates, dishwasher, dining setting, plus an external BBQ.
You have a self contained laundry with washing machine and outside drying lines.
Bathroom with bathtub, shower, hairdryer.
All linen and towels.
A huge firepit (fires only permitted April to September) with wood available on request (we will readily set up the pit for you), an outside patio, dining setting and a big BBQ with gas provided.
Wifi is free.
Smoking outside away from the house please.
We are pet friendly but do charge $20 per pet during your stay.
An outdoor spa is available for your use at $20 per stay.
We also have a boatshed with kayaks and canoes (life jackets included) ready for you at $20 per stay.
Use of extra equipment can be organised when you arrive at Sunsets.

Such a lovely property with a big backyard, spa, and beautiful view of the bay. It’s quiet, clean and has got everything you need. The hosts are great and made us feel very welcome.

Great location, awesome sunsets

This is a very neat, clean, modern self contained unit with plenty of space and a wonderful location. It is newly renovated throughout, including the kitchen and bathroom. The sunset view from the living room over Curleys Bay is incredible….every night!

Tranquil surroundings with a unique spot to watch the sunset.

Fantastic location right on the lake

This property is fantastic. It backs onto the lake at Culburra and you can sit at the edge of the property to watch the sunset or just relax watching the water. The downstairs apartment is very modern and has a very comfortable queen bed in each of the 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms also have ceiling fans. The kitchen does have a hotplate - it's in one of the cupboards. We didn't find it straight away. The bbq works well and is easy to use, being a gas one.

Leanne still works in schools for the NSW Department of Education as a School Counsellor / Psychologist, but I retired as a primary school Principal from the NSW Department of Education in 2019.
We moved here after I had double knee replacements and fell in love with ‘Burradise’.
Now we both volunteer with the local Rural Fire Service, Curleys Bay Bushcare Group and around the village.
