About this property
Cinco Chimineas - Heated Indoor Pool
SUMMARY
Cinco Chimineas provides the quintessential Santa Fe experience, and with its over 5,600 square feet, there is a special place for everyone. A warm welcome awaits!
By choosing to stay at Cinco Chimineas, you become part of a legend. The original adobe house was built by the White sisters who treasured the Santa Fe traditions of rough hewn vigas, intricate corbels, coved ceilings, kivas, and Saltillo tile floors. The Amelia White Park is just across the bridle path that runs in the back of the property. Set in the historic Eastside of Santa Fe, Cinco Chimineas is a short walk to the famed Downtown Subscription for your morning coffee and the even more famous Canyon Road. Stroll a bit farther and you will reach The Plaza, the heart of Santa Fe, where a party always awaits. Wander up the hill to the magnificence and diversity of Museum Hill. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful estates in the area, you are in a perfect location to experience the very best of Santa Fe!
The White sisters left an indelible mark and succeeding owners added the enormous Great Gathering room, the enclosed Piscina, and custom touches at every turn, from the hand-crafted sconces and chandeliers to the magnificent hand-carved doors to the three unique, bubbling fountains.
LIVING AREA, KITCHEN AND DINING
Skylights and large windows that overlook the courtyard make working in the remarkable galley kitchen a joy. The well-equipped space boasts some of All Clad’s d5 Stainless cookware, Musso Lussino ice cream maker, Vitamix blender, and more.
The Morning Room is a light-filled, intimate space that speaks to Santa Fe with its coved ceiling, handmade Saltillo tile floors, and kiva fireplace. The neighboring Narrows is a quiet place for curling up with a good book or checking your email.
The stunning Great Gathering Room provides a place for everyone to make memories together… for dinner at the enormous bespoke, live-edge dining table,… for watching a movie or game on the massive 85-inch, crystal clear television… for charades or family board games from the house collection… for sharing tales of the day’s adventures….because this is why you are here.
BED AND BATH
The custom-crafted king bed of the Master Bedroom is for the romantic in all of us. The most spacious bedroom in the house, there is ample, designed storage for your stay as well as a ceiling fan, A/C, smart TV, kiva fireplace, and French doors that open to a view.
The cozy Caravan Room is for the adventurous and young at heart. Queen beds piled with Katie Kime's whimsical fabric pillows are a delight. The charming doors and the cabinets of the neighboring bathroom are hand-painted with playful drawings that are sure to bring a smile.
The French doors of the airy and refreshing Watermelon Room open to the terraced garden. The giant’s king bed is made for comfort and the room’s own TV will provide you with the latest news.
The Repousse Tin Bedroom is graced by a king bed imported directly from the interior of Mexico. Its ensuite bathroom continues the feel with Mexican Talavera tile and sink. This endearing blue and white bedroom with its precious antique secretary claims its own kiva for chilly Santa Fe evenings.
The stars of the Western Bedroom are two spectacular paintings by the 20th-century artist, Epps. Real tree trunks line the entrance to the large shower and clouds float overhead in the ensuite bathroom. Immersed in the rugged west with rare antique spurs and barn wood lining the walls, the TV will keep you abreast of the 21st century.
OUTDOOR SPACE
Step outside to the Portal Grande, everyone’s favorite spot to relax and visit at the end of the day, enjoy the mountain air, and breathe in the fragrance of the piñon pines.
The Portal Pequeno is a wonder-filled spot for a tete-a-tete, watching the birds, listening to the fountain spilling over the rocks, or picking herbs for the evening meal or mint for your mojitos.
Fun for all awaits in the enclosed Piscina (swimming pool) which is the perfect game room that leads out to a private bocce ball court.
