Rodent issue

The property overall is nice-a typical cabin secluded in the woods with plenty of space. The electronic door code, used to get in that was supplied to us did not work and we had to call the property managers to enter-not a big issue. On our first night, we discovered mouse/rat droppings in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. This was an issue which should have been addressed and grossed us out. We literally hand washed all utensils. The dishwasher did not work. Good wifi, logs for the fire and heating system. The bedding-especially pillows were clearly worn and old. The owners should spend a little $ to change these out, as you are paying a premium to sleep in smelly old pillows. The mattresses - especially in the kids bunk beds could use a change. They are old and springs bite into your back:) We were a family of four, who booked a five night stay and left after the fourth night, as the rodent droppings we cleaned out from the cabinets appeared again, as our rodent friend came back while we there. disappointing.

Mountain Cabin

Well designed and decorated mountain cabin. There were some issues with cleaning on the weekend we visited. Great value for 6 guests. Comfortable and large enough for dining and visiting. Kitchen has new appliance and is fairly well equipped.
