About this property

Wake up to fresh mountain air and tranquil mountain views at Fernie Alpine Resort. At the base of the lifts with an awesome view up the mountain, it is truly ski/in ski out, mountain bikers or hikers paradise. This one-bedroom ground floor suite with a deck at the Griz Inn can host up to 5 guests 2 with 3 kids or 4 adults plus 1 child under 12 using the fold-out sectional). Will not approve 5 adults. Brand new renovation and amenities including tennis, pool, and large outdoor hot tub make it a great all-year getaway (excellent, dedicated wifi make it possible!).
The kitchen is beautifully renovated with quartz countertops and natural wood shelves. There are both Nespresso and Keurig coffee makers with complimentary pods. The quaint bathroom is also freshly renovated with lovely detail. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and twin bunks with 48” LED TV including Netflix and cable, with over-sized deep closet for storing all belongings. The living room has a brand new sofa sectional that pulls out to a queen-size bed (not the old creaky metal kind) and 70” LED TV with Netflix and cable. There is dedicated high-speed WIFI (very reliable) and banquette seating at the table for eating or games. In the winter there is a heated blower to warm up your gloves and boots at lunch or coffee break. You will have your own ski locker with a combination lock in the lower level to securely stow your skis and snowboards. You can ski immediately from the ski lock up (no walking). There is a tennis court beside the building for summer and racquets in the front closet. The lower level has a bike storage room with a lock. There is a lift operating most of the summer for mountain biking but there are also cross country and hiking trails. The pool and large outdoor hot tub are steps down from the condo on the lower level. Our condo is non-smoking/vaping (the rule is both inside and on deck, it's a strict building policy with $200 fee if broken).
Parking pass for front of the building. All guests have access to the pool (indoor) and hot tub (outdoor).
Check-in is 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. May have some flexibility depending on the next stay and our cleaner.

Great location

This condo location was so great and it had everything we needed for a great ski trip. The kids used the hottub and pool and enjoyed them both. We absolutely loved it. The restaurant in the building was closed but that was not a big deal and not the owners fault as they're renovating. Hopefully that is opened soon and would add to the greatness of the condo.

Griz Inn

The room had great furnished room with enough space for 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. My kids loved the bunk bed. Also enjoyed the swimming pools abd hot tub. We mostly rode or hiked at the hill. So we couldn't have been any closer. The bikes were able to be stored in the basement or attached during the day to the balcony. It was great evening to be sitting on the balcony and enjoyed the great view of the mountain.
