Welcome to La Détente!

Experience the ultimate waterfront chalet with panoramic mountain views. Enjoy complimentary use of our water sports equipment: two kayaks, a paddleboard, and a pedal boat, along with life jackets.

Our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor play areas are perfect for families with young children.

Unwind in our open-air spa or gather around the fire (or BBQ) in a comforting, playful, and spacious setting.

The cottage has 4 bedrooms each with a double bed and 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed. You will also find an indoor and outdoor wood-burning fireplace as well as a 4-season spa to enhance your evenings; a large kitchen with a central island to cook your favorite meals and an entertainment area in the basement with a pool table and table football.

You will have at your disposal during the summer season: two kayaks, a paddle board as well as a pedal boat and life jackets.

Infos to note:
- There are snowshoe, cross-country ski and fatbike trails 5 min walk away as well as snowmobile trails 2 min away for your entertainment.
- The internet you will have is a 125 Mbps connection, it is a good connection for teleworking.
- Please note that a terminal for electric cars is available on site.
- Please note that the doorbell has a camera and there is also a NoiseAware noise control device.
- Please also note that fishing is prohibited in the lake under penalty of a fine of $250. Thank you for your understanding.
- Please note that we do not give any guarantee on operation, cleanliness or technical support for the BBQ from November to April (there is no maintenance performed during this period).
- Please note that we supply propane only between the months of May to October.
- Please note that during the winter period (November to April), we do not guarantee access to or operation of the outdoor fireplace due to weather conditions that are beyond our control. However, you will have access to a shovel if you ever want to clean the site and use the fireplace. Thank you for your understanding.
- We provide one bath towel per person. Extra towels, spa or beach towels are not provided.
- For security reasons only, there is one camera outside facing the entrance.

Belles vacances en famille

Endroit très agréable. Beaucoup de commodité et d’activité disponible au chalet. Seul point négatif, le fait que les chiens sont permis fait en sorte qu’il faut porter une grande attention ou l’on marche sur le terrain.

Magnifique chalet familial

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour. Chalet très bien situé. Équipement sur place diversifié (vaisselle, jeux). Seul bémol, la qualité des matelas devraient être améliorée.

Great family getaway

Everything is there for a great family experience, including a park for infants, plastic cutlery and covers, plastic toys to play on the cute little beach… Many life vests of different sizes including toddlers, 2 kayaks and one paddle board; it’s a nice little sandy lake (no need for water shoes). The chalet is very clean, there are herbs and spices , and everything you need to cook also. The communication with the hosts is very efficient: the first day we arrived, there was a wraps nest near one of the doors and my 2 yo grandson got stung many places, so I wrote a message to the hosts asking for immediate help and within not even 2 hours there was someone on site taking care of the problem, so we are very happy with the attention that was provided to us, they made sure everything was ok and addressed our issues right away. The only little downside to this chalet is the fact that neighbors are very close, so the privacy is so so, but that didn’t really bother me because the chalets right next to ours were not occupied during our stay. We would highly recommend this place for your next vacation!
