Convenient 1-Bedroom street-level condo showcases a modern industrial home with concrete floors, maple cabinetry, and an abundance of natural light. Self check-in, free secured parking, 2 blocks from the metro skytrain, next to Chinatown, and close to the beautiful Seawall. Cheap to michelin restaurants nearby, Costco/supermarkets, a family-friendly park & transit to every direction, including English Bay, Seattle, Whistler! Lovely sunsets are a few blocks away at the seawall.

You are a short walking distance away from transit, and 2 blocks from the metro skytrain (Main St-Science World station) that connects to Vancouver YVR Airport, and to regional bus/train connections, including Seattle and Whistler. You are facing a small side street with ceiling-high windows that will fill the home with the morning sun. This street-level concrete home is equipped with heating and a portable air conditioning unit (which you will need to exhaust through an open window), a desk for working purposes, all the home comforts to cook your meal or eat out at the many cheap to trendy, michelin star restaurants and bars. Free secure underground parking is available upon request.

**Exciting new development is happening in the area, with a new building going up across the street. Activity is generally from 730am-5pm Monday-Saturday with the noise somewhat variable and unpredictable. That said, we have received little to no complaints from guests who stay in the bedroom. Evenings are still quiet and peaceful.

Our home is more suited for solo and couples. There is a Sofa bed available for 2 more guests, though there are no black out curtains, and street noise would be more noticeable there.

As part of our condo's requirements to allow short-term rentals (many condos in Vancouver actually prohibit this), a signed Form K is required by guests prior to check in, which basically acknowledges adherence to the building bylaws. Please review the house manual for the link to the form.

This condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the hosts were remarkably pleasant and accessible. We were able to walk to many of our activities and dining. Very glad we ended up staying here!

The property was nice and had great features. However, it was very warm inside and the bedroom had no ventilation except for fans and we had to vent the portable a/c unit out the window. ( which was kinda of scary s the property is at ground level). It would have been a lovely stay except for all the drug addicts and homeless near the area. If we were two females, I wouldn't want to stay in this area. We walked around Chinatown and surrounding area and it was really depressed and sad. I think the area would have been great a few years ago but now, not so much.

Our home is located in a family friendly condo in an inner city neighbourhood. Being in a gentrified neighbourhood also means you may come across homeless people at times. That said, we've welcomed many guests, including solo female travelers and those with children, and you will be centrally located to many popular destinations in Vancouver.

**As our area is redeveloping, new construction is happening across the street from 730am-5pm Monday-Saturday. The noise has been minimally noticed from the bedroom and living room (you will notice a passing vehicle from time to time in the living room, similar to normal street traffic). By accepting a reservation with us, you acknowledge the inherent circumstance of staying in a home with construction activities nearby and that the hosts have no control over the noise or activities there. That said we have received little to no complaints on this issue from guests or from ourselves.**

Street level entryway means no elevators to enter the condo. 24/7 access with smartlock for convenient check in and out. You are steps to Skytrain metro with direct YVR airport connection, and buses to Whistler and Seattle. The concrete condo is also equipped with building heating and a portable air conditioning unit (which you will need to exhaust through an open window), a desk for working purposes, all the home comforts to cook your meal or eat out at the many cheap and trendy restaurants and bars. Secure underground parking is available upon request.

Being next to Canada's largest Chinatown mean you have access to good traditional Chinese restaurants and bakeries. With the area gentrifying means there's also a good mix of trendy hip restaurants. Costco and supermarkets are nearby.
