About this property

4BR Hot Tub, Mountain Views - Family Friendly

Summary:
Hot tub! Enjoy stunning mountain views from this delightful 4-bedroom, 2-bath home in beautiful Woodland Park, ready to accommodate groups of up to 8 guests. With a back yard built for fun and relaxation, enjoy yourself in the hot tub gazebo, grill steaks on the deck and indulge in unhurried meals at the umbrella-sheltered outdoor dining table, and tell stories around the fire pit. Two living areas provide space to spread out. Amazing location 15 minutes to Pikes Peak, 20 to Colorado Springs.

The Space:
There’s a reason they call it “Fullview Avenue.” This traditional mountain home is tucked into a hillside overlooking an awe-inspiring view of the Rockies and Pikes Peak offers two levels of living space.

To enter into the home’s main floor, climb an exterior staircase. Due to the slope of the hill, the “upstairs” is level with the backyard. You also have the option of entering the home on the ground level directly from the paved driveway.

As you step through the front door on the upper main level, you’ll find yourself in a bright, beautiful open concept living space with a peaked ceiling and a gas fireplace at its center, conveying a distinct “ski lodge” feel. A bowed window offers a jaw-dropping mountain view, which you can enjoy from two perfectly-positioned club chairs in front of the window.

The center of the room will draw you in and tempt you into total relaxation with its big, comfy L-shaped sofa standing opposite the electric fireplace and wall-mounted TV. Fluff up some throw pillows and settle in! All TV's have streaming apps available for your subscriptions.

Toward the back of the room, a dining table for 6 stands just beside a sliding glass door leading to the outdoor deck, where an additional dining table for 6 is sheltered beneath an umbrella. Fire up the grill and enjoy steaks and burgers in the fresh mountain air! Just steps from the dining area, you’ll find a gazebo festooned with party lights where a 4-person hot tub awaits to warm your worries away. A pathway leads to the back of the fully fenced yard, where a dedicated fire pit area is flanked by rustic benches against a backdrop of evergreen trees.

Back inside, the dining area flows directly into the kitchen, divided only by a large breakfast island with 3 stools. The kitchen is large and well appointed for preparing big group meals with full-size appliances including a refrigerator/freezer, range with cooktop and oven, microwave and dishwasher, as well as BRAND NEW kitchen appliances including a slow cooker, blender, hand mixer, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, spices, and cooking utensils. Indulge in all the cooking and baking you never have time for!

Down the hall, you’ll find two bedrooms, both beautifully decorated in modern-rustic style.

One bedroom is a true “suite” with a private bath. With its own bow window, it offers the same breathtaking mountain view as the living area. It’s spacious and bright with windows on two walls and ceiling fan. Enjoy your own TV from the king-size bed and find ample storage in the dresser and closet. From behind a sliding barn-style door, you’ll find the bath with its double-sink vanity, large mirror, and combination tub/shower.

The second bedroom on this level is a serene oasis with a king-size bed, dresser, TV, large closet, and a ceiling fan.

As you move downstairs to the ground level, you’ll smile at the unique timber balusters surrounding the interior staircase – distinctly “Colorado woods!”

The ground level offers what might be the most inviting space in the home, with a living area furnished with two plush L-shaped sofas across from a TV, lit by daylight streaming through a sliding glass door that leads to a paved outdoor sitting area in front of the home, with a café table and two chairs. If you’re more of a reader than a TV watcher, you’ll find a bookcase full of reading material in this living space, too. There are board games and a corner laptop work space area as well.

This level offers a convenient laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer and utility sink, plus two more bedrooms and a bath.

Both bedrooms are serenely decorated and appointed with queen-size beds. They share use of a full bath with a large sink vanity and combination tub/shower.

Hotel-grade linens are professionally laundered after every visit. This home is managed by a local vacation rental specialist, and there’s a sense of quality and care that’s worthy of your 5-star review.

Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, and that extends to every facet of your stay, including our hot tub. The Neighborhood:
You could stay in Woodland Park and the immediate area and have a wonderful time without venturing beyond, surrounded by hiking trails, wildlife and spectacular scenery, including Pikes Peak (“America’s Mountain”) standing over 14,000 breathtaking feet above sea level! The town of Woodland Park offers plenty of shopping and casual dining options, and is home to a favorite family destination, the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, a museum with a working lab on-site.

However, the region is so rich in fascinating attractions and exhilarating outdoor activities, you’re bound to be tempted to drive a little further afield. Fortunately, there’s so much to see and do within 30 minutes or less, you’ll never experience a moment’s boredom, and never have to stray far from home.

Enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, ziplining, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing, sightseeing, wildlife spotting, and much more.

Looking for stunning natural scenery? Don’t miss the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center, where ancient, 300-foot-tall sandstone rock formations delight hikers and photographers alike (26 minutes).

Love animals? You might spot black bears, mountain lions and mule deer in their natural habitat in 1,600-acre North Cheyenne Caňon Park (30 minutes), or amble through Cheyenne Mountain Zoo to view a wide variety of animals from around the world in a picturesque mountain setting (34 minutes).

Looking to hike or bike beyond Woodland Park? Two popular spots are Bear Creek Regional Park East (26 minutes) and Red Rock Canyon Open Space (23 minutes).

Enjoy history and the arts? Visit the charming, artsy little town of Manitou Springs (20 minutes) and dive into the museums, galleries, and performing arts venues of Colorado Springs (20 minutes). You’ll find a huge variety of dining and great shopping, too.

Getting Around:
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

Perfect stay!
Myself and 3 friends loved this house. We especially appreciated the views, the cleanliness, the helpful notes around the house, and the variety of comfortable spaces for us to both gather in and also to spread out. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to offer more bath-sized towels. We had just enough to bathe and use at the hot tub, but there were only four of us.
