About this property
A charming cottage amongst a pine forest close to Canberra
The Pine Tree Cottage is a quaint cottage on a private 32 acre estate boasting valley views with grazing sheep pastures.
Located in the Bywong Region, in close proximity to some award winning cool climate wineries, close to Canberra and an award winning playground in Bungendore!
The cottage, appointed with new kitchen appliances, carpet, gardens, freshly painted and styled immaculately allows guests to feel right at home.
The tranquility of the property is one that is hard to come by.
Conveniently located within 20-30 mins of Canberra, 10 minutes to Bungendore, 2.5 hrs to Thredo or 1.5 hrs to Batemans Bay make for a central location with plenty to see and do for guest goers.
The cottage has free wifi, BBQ facilities, linen, a large variety of kitchen appliances, including a slow cooker, rice cooker and sandwich press.
Each booking will enjoy supplies to make their own continental breakfast which includes, bacon, eggs, milk, cereal.
The cottage also has a Nespresso Pod coffee machine with a variety of flavoured pods.
We welcome all guests to feel free to walk the 32 acres especially for the wildlife lovers. There are areas where you can get close to wombat holes along the creek, birds are plenty, horses can stroll up and down the street and the sheeps in the paddock across the way make for a beautiful backdrop at sunset.
Guests have keyless entry available on arrive. Codes are set as the last four digits of your phone number.
Guests are welcome to wonder the grounds of the property should they wish to.
We ask that where possible it’s a good idea to wear closed in shoes on hotter days and stay out of long grass as snakes can roam the property.
We often make enough noise and have Italian maremma sheep dogs who we take on leaded walks around the property to help keep the snakes at bay however, they can still be around.
We have multiple orchards towards the back of the property and along the creek where you are welcome to have a look and pick of fruit when they are in season.
Upon booking your stay with us, a map on how to find us and check in details will be sent to you.
Upon request, grazing boards are available on check in (or through the duration of your stay) for an additional cost.
We do have space for private events to be held for cottage guests. Should you be interested to find out more, please message us to discuss your options.

About the host
Hosted by Amy

I am an interior designer, come holiday home host. We moved from QLD to the chilly South for a sea change. We stumbled across the property formally known as Brooks Creek Vineyard and fell in love with its potential and charming landscape.
Why they chose this property
You feel like you are miles away from the world! Our own slice of paradise! It feels like you are in the mountains in a valley somewhere in Tuscany!
What makes this property unique
The cellar door is such a bonus to the cottage! Allowing for the comfort of a warm cozy bed, a short stumble home after a drink or two!
