First, let me preface this by saying that the owners/managers of this property are very nice, super responsive and probably would have fixed whatever we needed while we were there. Unfortunately, the issues with this house are construction-type problems and we did not want to be surrounded by contractors for our whole stay. So we provided the owners with an extensive list of needed repairs upon our departure. The photos used in this rental listing are from the MLS when the house was sold in 2022. It looks nothing like this now. After these owners bought it, it was used as a long term rental for a year+, then it was turned into a vacation rental. The walls and baseboards are all beat up, the floorboards are buckled, the orange tree out back is dead, with the remnants of the tire swing's ropes hanging from it. The kitchen remodel is decent. The countertops are nice and it's open and large. But the kitchen is very sparse and not equipped as a proper rental should be. There are only a few pieces of each kind of silverware, there are no kitchen accessories such as measuring cups, there is only one usable pan (the others are just plain gross). There are no spices or foil or plastic wrap; just the little things that you'd expect to have in a nice vacation rental. The bed was comfortable enough, but every chair and couch in the house was unbelievably uncomfortable. It's certainly livable - we were there for 2 weeks. But it is 100% not worth the rate that is being charged.
