Not as advertised, it says you can sit on the dock, there was no dock, there was a pile of rubble cement, rocks, logs, etc. along the side there was some material for building a dock. there was a side patio but no dining table and separate seating area no furniture. The steps to the back are stacked old steps (4 or 5) no railing. The yard is very uneven with mostly weeds and a few stumpsThis seems to be a work in progress, wall are in primer, no mirror in bathroom, no shelf in shower, a hole in the bathroom wall with wiring not finished. There was no decor anywhere. TV is sitting on a plastic storage bin on the floor. Doesn’t have the basic amenities, no kitchen linens, no toaster, limited silverwear, glasses, etc. there was a leak under the sink from not being properly installed. The owner? or someone did come and fix it properly while we were out. Bedrooms had beds but no where to put anything other than in the closet. They were not going to supply top sheets or towel, but they did bring them in before we got there. The sofa is pretty grungy looking. No instruction/ welcome book, so we had no idea what to do about leaving, so I just called them. Wouldn’t stay here again, compared to where I have stayed before for less money this was disappointing.

The pictures show a nice clean place, with a well manicured lawn next to beautiful blue water. When we showed up, we at first wondered if we were at the right place because of the abandoned look of the front yard. No trash, but what grass there was looked overgrown and there were many large branches littered about—like the kind that might break off trees and fall during a large storm. When we got inside, everything was clean like in the pictures. But again, the pictures were deceiving. Take the foosball table and the couch in the "living area". You'd be forgiven for thinking that the foosball table is like one from a pub or arcade. Wrong. This one was a cheap, flimsy knockoff that felt like it was going to fall apart if you played on it. And it didn't help that there weren't any actual foosballs. Instead, you had your choice of a ping-pong ball, a golf ball, or a superball. And the couch? I've seen better couches in fraternity houses. The leather was ratty, scuffed, and torn. Honestly, it looked like it had been picked up from someone's curbside where it had been put out for disposal. How does a couch like this fit the "comfy" and "cozy" that was used in the description of this place? The bedrooms were clean, but there were no extra sheets. In fact, the beds came with fitted sheets, but no flat sheets. The bunk bed in the kids' room was so flimsy and shaky that none of my kids wanted to sleep on the top bunk. The bathroom was also clean, but the shower drain was clogged. And we were given 1 bath towel and 3 hand towels for a family of five! When we asked the owners about this they responded that they hadn't left any more because of the pandemic. That's ridiculous. If you're that concerned with COVID then don't open your house to strangers. At the very least, clearly state in the description that towels will not be provided. And finally, there was the backyard. Again, contrary to the pictures in the listing, the backyard was heavily overgrown and unkempt. There is also a spooky, dilapidated shed in the corner that cannot be seen in the pictures. Most offensively, the "dock" mentioned in the description is—I kid you not—a jumble of bricks with gravel poured on top. I wouldn't want to stand on it much less put a chair on it. The owners did try to make things right. They brought extra towels, and bikes and toys for the kids. They offered to buy groceries. But they didn't agree to refund our second night & set us free.
