Our accom.at Romel House was very convenient to our Uncle so was just used for sleeping and showering.
I appreciate the communication with host Melanie.
I would consider staying here again as it was a great location.

A quaint cottage in the heart of Moonta township. It had everything we needed. Our 2 teens loved the fire pit and electric guitar. We enjoyed having coffee out the front
House was in an ideal location, quiet area, close to shops, hotels and other facilities. Obviously lovingly restored, clean, tidy and functional. Lots of room outside. Very impressed with bathroom, toilet and laundry. Good security entry. Highly recommend.

Charming 100 year old cottage was just that. A well preserved and renovated old house in character with many other similar old houses in the interesting and atmospheric streets of central (old) Moonta. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable with efficient cooling available via ACs and ceiling fans. The kitchen was well equipped and local retail outlets only a few blocks away provided for all needs and beyond. We particularly enjoyed the walking distance from the house to the main street, local restaurants and a number of historic buildings. Moonta is a very interesting town, previously unfamiliar to us, and we were delighted by the degree of historic preservation and town pride. This house contributes to that. We were a couple but the house would happily accommodae a family.

The perfect setting for a relaxing holiday, or close to all amenities if you want something different.
The house has plenty of character and is like a home from home.
I would recommend RoMel House to anyone.

Very character-filled house with everything you need for a comfy stay (even a bread-maker and ingredients to make your own bread!) Very friendly and helpful hosts. Right in the heart of Moonta with lovely big park across the road and supermarket / restaurants a short walk away. Great place to stay

The property is absolutely fantastic!
We stayed for a night, my parents, myself and my 2 year old. We all loved it!
Well equipped, clean and the quirkiness is amazing.
We will def be back for another stay but longer next time
The cottage was very comfortable, clean, well appointed, and close to shops and a great restaurant, all within walking distance. Overall, it was a very enjoyable place to stay.
One word? Brilliant.
It was spur of the moment weekend getaway. Excellent value for money, and far better optioned than most rentals we've stayed in, in the area. A stones throw from the main street, makes this home even better.
Thanks for allowing us to enjoy our couple of days break.
Well located to visit Moonta.
Well appointed comfortable accommodation.
The provision of a broom, dustpan, and extension for the vacuum cleaner would have been appreciated.
A lovely quiet relaxed place to stay in the heart of Moonta.
A quaint, well kept, clean, stylish home within its era. Loved the decor and the outdoor areas. Comfy and relaxing all round. Would definitely stay again.
Stunning, lovely cottage, my mother and husband that are visiting from overseas though it was charming and wanted to stay more time. Definitely, I recommend this beautiful cottage and hopefully, we would comeback soon.
This property caters for quite a few people and child friendly with a selection of games and laundry facilities. However, my dear friend and I had a getaway to rejuvenate so we're without our families. Both our rooms had comfortable queen sized beds in large rooms. The kitchen is huge with a bread maker and provisions for making your own bread with tea, coffee, milk, oil facilities. The bathroom is freshly refurbished with a large shower, hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner. The location is right in town so walking distance to everything. The shops and service in Moonta was delightful.
Mel, the owner, emailed right away regarding our stay as well as the day before in regard to keys, etc. Am excellent stay and will definitely be back.
