In the heart of Charlottetown
This apartment has full kitchen and dining room. Good sized rooms and everything worked well. Host was good at communicating with us prior to and during our stay. Big advantage of this apartment is that it’s an easy walk to many restaurants and cafes in downtown Charlottetown. It’s a quiet neighbourhood.

Value for money
This property provided good value for its price point. Pros: The apartment is large, the bedrooms were spacious and nice, the bed (we only used one bed, but the other looked to be the same) was quite comfortable, and there was plenty of dresser and closet space. LeeAnn was excellent and accommodating — she ensured that that the property was cleaned and ready for our early arrival (even monitoring our flight arrival status) and allowed for a late departure given the evening flight. Cons: The bathroom is small, but that’s fine. What threw me off and resulted in a lower rating was the state of the bathroom. The floor tiles were cracked and actually moved under our feet when we stepped on them and the enamel of the bathtub/shower is peeling. Overall, the bathroom is in dire need of replacement. Reminded me a bit of student housing in that respect. Another con was that the apartment had a slight smell to it, which you noticed every time you entered (but then quickly got used to it … until you left and came back). I’m not sure if it was from stale cigarette smoke or what it was, but the rental was clean so that wasn’t the issue. Finally, I’d note that one of the storm windows in the living area was smashed so that you couldn’t open the window if you wanted to (and the large and small glass pieces were all still on the sill). Overall, but for the bathroom, I would’ve given a higher rating, but it is good for the price point.

Review of property
Light fixtures need cleaning, was surprised at the # of taped windows. Bath towels are very small for adults Building was much older than expected. Overall was OK - we were only in the unit for sleeping

Cozy 2 bedroom near downtown Charlottetown
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is very comfortable. The host was very friendly and responsive. Only quibble is that the bathroom could use some updating but cleanliness not an issue. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

About the host

Welcome to Suite 91 on Weymouth! After living most of my adult life away from the island, I have returned home with my family and LOVE being back on PEI. Along with working on my vacation rentals, I also teach at a local college. When I'm not cleaning units or cutting grass, you can find my daughter and I at the barn with our horses.

Why they chose this property

I have rentals in Darnley on the north shore, Summerside and Charlottetown. I love Suite 91 because of the location. It's great being downtown and close to the waterfront. On occasion when one of the suites are free, we take advantage of staying down in Charlottetown. Although it's an older building, I love the characteristics of the suites and the clean, cozy feeling.

What makes this property unique

Location! If you enjoy walking, try out the Charlottetown Boardwalk - it's about 10 km along the waterfront and absolutely beautiful!
