Great place - Great location - Guest contact was frustrating

We arrived a couple hours prior to a concert. Had problems getting in, when we called the guest contact (at least a dozen times), we got no answer. Had to hunt her realty business down through google/Facebook to get ahold of her partner....Once we got ahold of someone everything was amazing! Just a word of advice to update guest contact if the rep will be unavailable. Would have been 5 stars otherwise! Great place!

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

I booked this house because the pictures made it look very cute and clean. My husband arrived before me at 7 p.m. on our check-in day, May 7. When he opened the door, the house was a mess; it was filthy. I contacted the owners who apologized for the situation and came to the house. They said they didn't know about our reservation. They changed the sheets on the bed and wiped down counters in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. They said they would come back the next day to clean the rest of the house. THEY DID NOT! They didn't return to clean for three days. We were charged a ridiculous cleaning fee. Not sure where that was used. Examples of filth: Inch of dust on ceiling fans Mold in showers Food crusted on refrigerator. Mold in dishwasher Food burnt to oven Food splattered in microwave DIRT (not dust) all over outside sitting area Dead bugs Cobwebs in corners of rooms We were also charged a damage fee. Here is a list of broken items in the home when we arrived: Glass on stovetop Holes in second bedroom walls due to moisture from outdoors (Second so-called "bedroom" is actually the mudroom between the living room and the outdoor sitting area. All they did was put a bed in there and a dehumidifier.) Shelves in refrigerator Mirror in main bathroom They say the house has lake access. It does not. It is five miles from the lake. Do not be duped by the pictures of this property. It is not what they say it is. It is not worth what they charging.
