Our First VRBO Stay

The property was so much fun. While you are about 18 to 20 miles out from everything, the commutes to our destinations were not a problem. It’s located on the Piankatank River and there are other homes surrounding it so you don’t feel like you are in the wilderness!! The riverfront is awesome and huge dock in the water. The morning sunrises are just awesome and words cannot describe it. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening. The owner has done a nice job with items you need for your stay. I forgot my magnifying mirror to put on makeup and found one hanging behind the bathroom door. While this is not the Ritz, and you like cottages, this is perfect. We would definitely go back. Next time I would like to rent a boat. You see boats out on the water and we were curious where people go on the river!

Relaxing and cute

The property was clean and quaint. It had a great view and easy access to the river. It had everything available to make your stay comfortable and easy going. I would definitely go back with my teen boys who enjoyed fishing from the pier.

Amazing cottage with incredible river views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cottage on the Piankatank River. The space has everything a small group or family could ever want with amazing water views. The screened porch was perfect for meals and lively discussions. The backyard was relaxing and provided reprieve from the hot summer days with shade as well as a lovely breeze coming off the water. The dock is in great condition and ideal for fishing / crabbing (we caught a bunch!). We very much appreciated the hosts attentiveness to our questions and needs. Highly recommend this peaceful home and hope to come back in the future! Thank you for your hospitality and flexibility!
