Great location let down by being dated and unclean. The pics are misleading
The property had been closed up for over six weeks and had not been refreshed only new bedding out on. The property manager did send someone out who by their own omission was shocked that the place was so dirty and sent her photos of the “black water” from cleaning. Dirty floors, sticky cupboards, sand on carpets and mess on the couches. We had to put three loads in the dishwasher before being able to eat there. We also had to wipe out the cupboards to place our food out. The bathrooms and kitchen are tired. The drawers in the kitchen are unorganised and have dirty utensils in them and food. Blinds and ceiling fans are so dirty you can’t use them. We had to leave a day early as it was impacting our stay so much. We had paid a lot of money for a four day break and when asked for a refund it was declined however the cleaning fee was refunded. The property manager then stopped replying. The property is in need of a deep clean and refreshing and whilst in its current state isn’t worth the prices being charged purely based on its location. We have stayed at many places in the peninsula and we appreciate this was the Easter break however this was by far the most tired and over priced property and needs new photos taking to fairly represent its current state.
