Stockman's Cottage @ Butmaroo Station

The Stockman's Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests.
With ample outdoor living to enjoy the fresh country air while cooking breakfast on the BBQ or sitting by the outdoor fire in the evening under the stars.
Th garden is fully fenced with its own parking to fit multiple vehicles and close access to the front door. There is also a garden gate for access into the adjacent paddock for those who would like to interact with the animals or sit by the dam with a picnic.

The cottage is located next door to The Lodge and can be interconnected by a locked gate if booking with a larger group.

Pets are most welcome however prior approval is required as rules apply.

Perfect country break

The location and accommodation are perfect for that country break. The stockman’s lodge is modern and top class and the outlook is stunning. Everything you need for a wonderful holiday.

Butmaroo Station is a 3000 acre working farm situated in its own sheltered picturesque valley with Butmaroo Creek running through the entire property and Tallaganda National Park bounding to the south. Butmaroo is perfect for guests who love to connect to nature or just need a place to relax and unwind. It is an ideal venue for family get togethers, groups of friends, a small conference or even a couple that wants a very special place to connect.

Why they chose this property

Situated 15kms from the historical Bungendore village, home to the renowned Woodworks Gallery and award winning wineries and approx 40 mins to Canberra International Airport, and 285kms from Sydney via the Hume Highway
While the property is predominantly pastoral it has a lovely balance of native bush and waterways. The southern end of the farm is bounded by the Tallaganda National Park.

What makes this property unique

All our houses are set in their own private spaces on the farm with lovely landscaped gardens and views across the property.
Wander or take a bike ride around the farm and take in the fresh air and meet the animals.
