About this property

If you're looking for quality family time, great swimming and a sandy beach then this is the spot. Peace & quiet w/o gas powered watercraft. Just the sounds of 2 resident loons. (We purposely have nixed on a T.V.) Guests love and boast of the outdor hot & cold shower-the loon saloon on the beach equipped with retro fridge and the awesome swimming. Enjoy stargazing-fishing, kayaking & feeding the chipmunks. Also great reviews on the decor & incredibly equipped kitchen. A short trip to Fenelon Falls shops and locks, the famous Bob Cageon & the small town of Kinmount which boasts the historic movie theater/museum with the latest movies and cat sanctuary.(worth the visit) closest LCBO in Kinmount. Great fish and chips and kawartha dairy ice cream.

Fishing? If you enjoy catch and release then please de-barb the hook as to not injure the fish that you toss back in. You do this with pliers.

We are from the Mississauga area. We've enjoyed many years raising our children at the cottage. Quality time is important to us as a family which was why we nixed on a T.V. We love the outdoors, entertaing our friends and meeting new ones.

What makes this property unique

Our cottage is unique in that the lake is a no gas motor lake which provides the tranquility we all need. We have been on those noisy lakes with motors whizzing by which can be fun but they steel the beauty of nature and quality time with the family playing games and interacting with eachother. You will hear the eerie calls of the loons, see more stars than ever, spot grey herrons, hawks, osprey, turltles, frogs galore, many kinds of dragon flies, beaver, wild turkey, deer, and Ive even seen a moose.
