Unfortunately the photos used were of the property when it was sold, assuming to current owners (we found the marketing material on the top shelf of the entrance cupboard)
The property was dated and in need of some financial investment, perhaps fine for a schoolies group, but not a young family.
The main bed was broken, which we fixed by using a pot and 3 chopping boards.
The lounge was broken, so you couldn’t lay back on it to strongly, not to mention the light fabric stained.
What appeared to be mould on air con vents.
No screen protectors on windows for when open.
No nice comfy furniture on the balcony like in the photo, just 2 metal folding chairs and a tiny footstool like side table.
The overall feel was dingy and run down to put it bluntly.
The property is looked after by a third party which I wasn’t aware of until I was expecting payment to come out and it didn’t happen and I had to chase them up, and it was on and off difficult to contact them, directions to car parking space also not clear in document so had to chase again to gain information.
The pool area outside however was exactly as the pictures showed and incredible fun for the kids, and the Thai restaurant downstairs a must to eat at!
If I stayed here again, I would be booking through Mantra in hopes for a better experience.
