Named for the mesmerizing full-moon high tides that bring Linekin Bay’s waters close to the top of its seawall, “Moon Tide Cottage” is a magical place to slow down and restore. Settle into the calm coastal rhythms of the Murray Hill community where locals and visitors make the most of everything this tucked-away stretch of the Maine Coast has to offer. Wake up to sun-drenched ocean views from the main bedroom; so close to the shore you’ll feel like you’re floating on the ocean. Watch boats come and go through the living room picture window or from the deck while you sip your coffee. Take a morning stroll between the bay and Mill Pond to pick up breakfast at The East Boothbay General Store. Go for a hike in one of the nearby preserves maintained by the Boothbay Land Trust. Enjoy a long paddleboard or kayaking excursion from the property’s beach or walk to the nearby Murray Hill Community Dock and jump into the ocean for a swim! Unwind with book or a nap in a cozy hammock beside the shore. Prepare dinner on the grill or in the brand-new kitchen and end your day watching the moon rise beside a waterfront fire.

Lovingly renovated from the inside out over the last couple of years, Moon Tide cottage features 3 newly reconstructed bedrooms with new mattresses and bedding, 2 full bathrooms (upstairs with soaking tub), and a fully renovated eat-in kitchen with all-new stainless steel appliances. While an ideal place to unplug, the cottage is also equipped with a home office complete with water views and Wifi if needed.
