House in the Heart of the Hunter Valley Wineries

Sutton Estate is set on 27 acres of beautiful nature walks and arguably as close to the wineries and concerts as you could get. Central in the Hunter Valley, the property offers the best spot to get to concerts, wineries, restaurants and the Food and Wine Trail. Want your whole holiday covered? The space
Your hosts Phillippa and Glenn are so happy we can share our piece of paradise with you.

We are at the centre of the Hunter Valley with a cellar door directly next door, 7 wineries directly on our road and the concerts just one street away makes this your ideal holiday or getaway.

The welcoming driveway sets the scene for a relaxing holiday and to enjoy the local vineyards and entertainment. We only take one group at a time on the property and you will have exclusive use of the pool and the property.

Outside you will find the pool with deck chairs or go for a walk where you will find the path that runs around the 27acres of amazing scenery and includes a large Dam, Rainforest and wineries views. The property is located 3.3kms to Bimbadgen Estate or an extra 2.3kms to Hope Estate making it a perfect position if your going to the concerts.

We love animals here and they can be patted if you like or not, it is up to you. We have a horse Melody, and a lovely Border Collie, Kale who is very friendly and our chickens, that produce our fresh eggs in your breakfast hamper.

Full Breakfast is included which is supplied to have at your leisure and pod coffee machine also included. You will find in your fridge, milk, butter, bacon and fresh eggs from our chickens. In your hamper basket you will find cereal, toast ( plain and raisin toast), sugar, salt and pepper, tea bags, coffee pods and tomato sauce. You can either cook in the kitchen or on the back verandah on the BBQ which is very easily operated. (operating instructions are in the black Sutton Estate book).

There is many places for wine tasting along our road, which incorporates many of the best wineries in the area along the Around Hermitage Food and Wine Trail.

We as the owners live on the property and live in a separate cabin and we run an electric bike business, Escape Room and Smash Room. Please book in advance on our web site.

Guest access
The house is yours solely and we only take one group at a time. The pool will be solely for your use also. We close the Pool during winter.
Other things to note
We have motorised electric bikes that you can hire for wine tours. Please let us know in advance if you would like to book them. The cost is extra to the accommodation.

We also have the Wine Escape Room on the property that is an extra cost to the accommodation and a great activity and the Smash Room for great holiday fun. Check out our web site for further info.
