This unique Moyne riverside apartment sits literally within the foundations of one of Port Fairy’s earliest historic bluestone buildings. Imagine the vibrant maritime past from inside Steam Packet Wharf, which was built in 1848. This innovative apartment is the pick of a small number within a boutique residential redevelopment, located in historic Gipps Street lined with majestic Norfolk Island Pines and adjacent to King George Square.

Enjoy your very own expansive river panorama directly out to the front and to the south up toward Griffiths Island from the generous Living room and well-appointed Kitchen with filtered drinking water on tap. The Dining room continues the open plan through a handsome original bluestone archway. Relax on the front deck and lawn to watch the comings and goings of the fishing fleet, pleasure craft and wooden boat restoration - all so mesmerising, you may find you never want to leave!

Two spacious Bedrooms each have Queen beds and adjoining Bathrooms. The Master has an Ensuite, Dressing room, TV and views to the river. If that wasn’t enough, there is also an inviting, separate TV Snug for viewing, reading or cocooning, opening onto a private and protected northern courtyard with BBQ and additional outdoor dining/seating. Undercover garaging offers parking for one car with an additional driveway car spot. The laundry is fully equipped with access to the north facing courtyard.

Appealing in any season, the apartment is double-glazed throughout and has AC and ducted heating plus a gas log fire.

The owners have carefully fitted out the apartment with welcoming, unique personal creative touches, including vintage/antique furniture and artworks. No cookie-cutter thinking here.

A few minutes’ walk away, this truly central location provides easy access to the main streets for provisions, coffee and restaurants or across the footbridge to the East beach or for walking along the wharf to the island and beyond.

Please note - Due to the unfenced lawn area at the front with direct river frontage, the apartment is not suitable for small children.
