Very disappointing
We hired this house over a surf lifesaving carnival and realised that we were charged double the price for a house that is clearly not as well maintained as shown on the photos. The house was old and dusty and there were no space to store our groceries. No linen or towels were included and there wasn’t even a shower gel in the house. We were hoping to sit out around “the outdoor firepit” but it was so old and damaged we didn’t use it. Even if the location and size of this house is great, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s very overpriced.

Peaceful Port Elliot
We loved our stay at this home over Christmas. It was bright and clean and very comfortable with a lovely family vibe. The loungeroom was very comfortable. The backyard was well maintained but we stayed more in the front on the porch. There is no front fence but this was ok (I had two small whippets) as the street was so quiet and tucked away. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but if it had been the outdoor dining space would have been used every night! The BBQ was a great bonus too. The house is at the end of a quiet court so it was very peaceful, especially at night when all you could hear was the ocean nearby. It is easy walking distance to The Strand and 5 - 10 min drive (depending on traffic) to Hayborough for the bigger Coles and Aldi. I highly recommend this house for a family, or two families, as the bedroom configuration can cater to two couples and about 6 kids in the bunk rooms!! I would definitely book this house again.
