This charming cabin has all of the comforts of a home but with the feel of a cabin. It is tucked away in the trees on a quiet street and provides the feeling of being 'away from it all'. Decks in front and back allow you to lounge and take in the natural setting. Back deck provides great star gazing on a clear night. You will truly feel like you are living the good life. In addition to having Twain Harte Lake membership privileges, this location is just a short 30 minute drive from Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort.
There is no WIFI or cable.

New Years Eve Get-a-away

This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. We just love the cabin and it was fun to have all the holiday lights up to give that festive new yours eve vibe. Everyone including the owner and property Managers were wonderful, if we needed anything. The location is perfect because you can easily walk downtown to go get some lunch, a boba tea (which my kids loved) do a little shopping or just walk through the neighborhood. We even took a quick 25 min drive to Pinecrest. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to leave a day early, but we definitely plan on setting up another trip in the spring or summer. Highly recommend this spot.

Not worth it!

Where to begin? During our stay of only 2 nights and I mean literally we were there only to sleep… There was no WiFi and no cable that was not even disclosed in the listing? In a town that literally has no service that’s super inconvenient especially when you’re at the front door and can’t even check your email for the code to get inside. My kids were very excited to see there was at least 100 DVDs to watch yet we weren’t able to watch them either since the DVD player didn’t work. LOL! Best part, property manager “Barbara” unreachable by phone yet conveniently popping into the cabin when we were gone… and coincidentally in the driveway when we leave the home.. I left my sunglasses behind and that was a mission and a half to get them back but it was my fault anyways for leaving them. Cute place. Strange people. Would not recommend.

Twain Harte Gem

Our short 2-day stay in A_Boa_Vida was terrific. Although this is a 2 bedroom 1 bath, we were surprised to find a very spacious cabin with a large kitchen, dining area and family room. Outdoor decks were very nice to have coffee and relax and the property is a short and easy walk to town. Would stay here again!

Weekend get away

Can up for a family reunion. Location of cabin was on a quiet street, but within walking distance to shops, restaurants and mini golf. We took advantage of the lake and check in at the reception gate was easy. The cabin was the right size for the 2 of us. Extremely clean. Not a lot of check out procedures on our lady day. I would recommend an additional mirror somewhere dice the only one is located above the sink in the bathroom.
