Poor Experience – Security and Amenity Issues
My stay at this property in May 2025 was cut short due to serious issues that led me to immediately cancel the booking. These included unresolved security concerns and misleading advertising , which caused unnecessary stress and forced me to find alternative accommodation at short notice.The first issue relates to automated access gate failure. The vehicle access remote was faulty, leaving me unable to enter or exit securely. Despite reporting as the issue immediately, the property management team advised maintenance could only attend the next day and that it required the building body corporate to action, the timing of which was outside of their control. I was forced to park on the street overnight, which was unsafe and unacceptable. Speaking to other residents in the apartment block they noted that remote gate was an ongoing issue.The second concern I have is with the misleading property listing. The apartment listing showed a usable balcony with furniture, but it was under refurbishment and inaccessible on arrival—this was not disclosed in advance.The third issue was in relation to poor maintenance, which included an unclean bathroom vanity and very dim lift lighting, adding to my unease about the security of the property.These problems made the property unsuitable. I requested a full refund due to the lack of secure access and misrepresented amenities.The only positive was that Propd responded promptly to my written concerns and facilitated an immediate refund.
