Very nice house in a central location for day trips

This house is very comfortable. It is also nice. The location is remote and in "the middle of nowhere," but it is great for day trips. It is a central location for trips from Christchurch to Queenstown or Wanaka if you want to take things slowly and not drive too much. The house was clean but not spotless (the oven and some plates were dirty), and the dryer was not working. I did not complain because we were there only two days, so I am unsure if the owner would have resolved things quickly. Overall, we loved our stay there.
