The Space:
The delightful Pohutakawa fringed sandy Kohi beach is only 2 minutes and 84 steps away. How convenient! Enjoy leisurely walks along the waterfront, relax on the beach, or take a dip in the ocean during the warmer seasons. In either direction, east to St Heliers and west to Mission Bay, the location also offers a variety of parks, reserves, cafes, and restaurants, providing ample opportunities for dining and entertainment. Madill's Farm Recreation Reserve is just a short walk away as well.
For those looking to explore the city, Auckland CBD is just a short drive or bus trip away, offering easy access to Auckland's top attractions, including the iconic Sky Tower, Auckland Museum, the Wynyard Quarter, and Viaduct Harbour, and slightly further away is Auckland Zoo and MOTAT. From the bottom of Queen Street are the ferries to delightful Waiheke Island and the wildlife sanctuary Island Tiri Martangi.
Our spacious (115m2) apartment comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. It is one of four architectural designed mid-1970s solid and dry townhouses with native plantings by the owners outside. Off street car parking is provide at no extra cost. The house features two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two single-beds, all wood framed slat beds with pure latex mattresses. All beds have electric blankets for those colder nights! Bedside lights are also wireless phone chargers.
In this home, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with a full-sized fridge, oven with induction cook top, Nespresso coffee machine & plunger for your morning dose, dining table for four, and a comfortable lounge with a smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A separate comfortable work station for computer work or electronic meetings is available.
The apartment also includes a private bathroom with a shower and full size bath and separate toilet. There is also a new Bosch combo washer/dryer for your use. If natural drying is preferred there is a washing line at the rear of the property for use by guests and the other residents of this four apartment complex

The Neighborhood:
Kohimarama - is best known for its beach! The beach is well-maintained and has excellent facilities, including changing rooms, showers, and picnic areas, making it a great spot for a day out. Apart from the beach, Kohimarama also has a lovely waterfront walking track that stretches along the coast, offering stunning views of the sea and nearby Rangitoto Island. The track is ideal for leisurely walks, jogging, or cycling, and there are plenty of parks and playgrounds along the way.
Parnell - Known for it's variety of dining options, boutiques and galleries. Also many cool bars to check out. Non Solo Pizza is highly recommended if you're after great food, cocktails and buzzing atmosphere (for a mature crowd). Load up on fresh fruit and veg and enjoy a variety of food stalls every weekend at 545 Parnell Road is La Cigale - French Farmer's Market! There are also footpaths and bike trails that lead across the parklands of Auckland Domain.
Mission Bay - Popular seaside suburb, home to many eateries and has path that leads all the way down to St Heliers (another popular seaside suburb). In the warmer months, Mission Bay is a perfect spot to park up on the beach for the day.
The Viaduct - the best bars and restaurants in the city! The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari.
Federal Street - next to the Sky Tower (you can't miss it!) There are a lot of really nice bars and restaurants and cafes in this street, as well as the Sky City Casino and of course the Sky Tower. Dine at the top of tower at restaurant with the best views in Auckland, and jump off the Sky Walk to get down
Aotea Square - Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter.
Albert Park, Art Gallery and the Museum - Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden.
Getting Around:
You'll be able to reach Kohi Beach, cafes and restaurants by walking. Best way to get around the rest of Auckland is driving or catching an Uber.

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.
Key Pick-Up: There is an on-site lockbox at this property. You will be able to collect this and check-in after 3pm. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.
Pre Check-in building requirements: Before check-in, we will require a separate form to be completed with the ID provided for the main guest. This is a building requirement for short-term rentals for security and insurance purposes. Please inquire before booking if you have any questions.
Please note there is an age restriction of children five (5) years and older.
Parking: There is free parking at the property.
Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the property for a $65 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.
Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.
Luggage Storage: We cannot offer luggage storage inside the property but we can recommend The Luggage Hotel on Princes Wharf.
Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay: 450ml shampoo and conditioner, 450ml bodywash, 4x tea/coffee, 3x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes, but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.
Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed, a hand towel, face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.
Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.
This is a professionally managed property so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced property.
Interaction with Guests:
We give my guests space but am available when needed.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible. You will be provided with an emergency 24/7 maintenance number as well in case you need that outside of our regular office hours.
