The Space:
Immersed in the charming ambience of Old Torquay, 'Coastal Serenity' stands as a harmonious blend of tranquility and accessibility. With its proximity to pristine beaches and vibrant Bell Street shops, this two-storey residence is crafted to be a haven where relaxation meets excitement. The thoughtful design and layout encapsulate a homely vibe, ensuring guests experience the ultimate in comfort while indulging in the array of adventures that lie just around the corner.

Upon entering, guests are welcomed by a light-filled living room overlooking both front and back gardens, furnished with a sizable corner lounge and a Smart TV (*log into your own streaming services). This area transitions into a spacious open plan kitchen and dining area with split system heating/cooling, making it a communal sanctuary for all. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a Nespresso coffee pod machine, double oven, dishwasher, and walk-in pantry, ensures meal preparations are a breeze, while the extendable dining table invites everyone to gather around.

A garden aspect sitting room offers yet another place to chill out and relax. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the two separate areas: a BBQ area with a retractable awning, outdoor furniture, and night lighting, and a large, grassed area featuring a trampoline for the kids. There is plenty of room to store your bikes and beach gear, and though the garage is locked, there is ample parking space for 2 cars. A well-behaved pet is welcome by request, subject to House Rules and an extra $50 cleaning fee.

Downstairs, the master bedroom offers a luxurious King bed, built-in robes, ensuite, and its own Smart TV*, providing a private haven for relaxation. Another bedroom, furnished with a Double bed and study area, completes the space, along with a separate toilet and laundry (washing machine and clothes dryer).

Heading upstairs, a Study area is equipped with desks, and leads to another living area equipped with another Smart TV*. Additionally, high-speed unlimited NBN internet caters to both work and entertainment needs. This flows onto a balcony with sea glimpses, offering a versatile space for entertainment or relaxation. Two additional bedrooms, one with a Queen bed, and the other with Single Bunk beds and a single floor mattress, accommodate diverse needs. Hotel quality sheets and bath towels are supplied. Please BYO beach towels. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. A central family bathroom with shower, bath, and separate toilet is also on this floor.

Beaches - Our beautiful local beaches including family-favourites, Fisherman’s Beach and Cosy Corner, starting just 750m away. Torquay Surf Beach offers family friendly swimming/surfing, 1km from home, and is patrolled in summer months.

Front Beach offers long beach walks and (generally) calm swimming, while Torquay Point, Jan Juc and Bells Beach offer waves for advanced surfers.

Spring Creek caters to family fishing, SUPing, kayaking.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region.

Adventure Park is also a great day out with the kids – approx. 40mins drive away.

Beautiful house in a great location
Firstly the best thing is the location of this house. You can walk to the shops and the beach. It’s a bit away from the main section which means it’s very quiet. The bedroom set up is amazing. There was only 2 of us and with the door closed to upstairs it’s completely self contained. The beds are super comfy and big. The house had everything you could need for a stay. There’s also work desk spaces, which means people can set up and work remotely, which we both did. Outside area is lovely, the bbq works and cooks a mean steak. Would definitely stay here again, and next time find another friend to join us so the cost is shared. It wasn’t cheap for just the 2 of us but for us to get away and have a relaxing long weekend it was worth it!!!
