Summary:
This gorgeous contemporary country home located in Mount Duneed, just a 20 minute drive to the Geelong CBD and 10 minutes to Torquay. Mount Duneed’s growing shopping centre just 6 a minute drive away and local coffee spots 9Grams and Cups Canteen within walking distance. The house itself oozes serenity with its earthy tones and country style odes, with no shortage of entertainment space and creature comforts. Fit to easily sleep 10, with two bathrooms and two lounges, this home is perfectly fit for a large family coming down to explore Geelong, the Surfcoast and the Bellarine.

The Space:
The floor plan is all laid out on ground floor. With a master retreat located at the rear of the property off the main living areas. Tucked to the right of the entry is a second lounge and other bedrooms with main bathroom.

Approaching the home, you are greeted with tones of rust brick, warm white weather boards and enter through a sage door fitted with digital lock. Walking straight through the light filled hallway the home opens to the high cathedral ceiling where the vast kitchen, dining and living area sit.
There is ample seating both inside and on the alfresco, starting with the ten-seater soft wooden table with black chairs, with four additional stools at the white marble breakfast bar. The uninterrupted island bench provides substantial prep space along with either side of the induction stove, also nestled in-between the kitchen cupboards is the oven and grill along with double door fridge. Off the kitchen there is a spacious butler’s pantry to keep the mess out of the kitchen, fit with a double farmhouse sink, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. With cavity sliders on either end, one leading into the hallway and the other into the Laundry fit with a trough, washing machine, and dryer, with garage access that goes through to the side of the house.
To help keep guests entertained the kitchen hosts a mini bar and wine fridge.

There is plenty of space to relax, have a chat and watch TV, moving across to the living area, which entails a plush eight-seater couch with room to spread out or for kids to nestle in, which looks over the large Smart TV with Free WIFI Available. The entire home can be kept warm or cool with ducted heating and cooling throughout.

To the right of the living spaces through the glass stacker doors you have the alfresco with a convertible roof if you wish to catch some rays. Offering seating for eight with a four seater couch and four rattan chairs, surrounding the stone coffee table, where you can watch kids play on the lush green grass or cook up a storm on the Webber BBQ.
Adjacent to the living area is the master retreat at the rear of the home, fit with a large walk-in robe and elegant ensuite. The main bedroom hosts a plush king size bed, wide wooden bedside tables fit with lamps, a smart TV, ceiling fan and your own view of the yard via the glass door. Entering the substantial ensuite, styled with neutral toned terrazzo tiles and gold tapware, you have your own makeup station filled with natural light from the skylight and fit with a rattan stool tucked into the wide vanity. At each end of the ensuite is a walk-in shower and separate water closet.

Returning back to the entry and veering right through the cavity slider door you find the second living room which you may also access off the alfresco, this lounge consists of a cushy four-seater couch, smart Tv and lush carpet where the kids can play, watch cartoons or you can escape to a cosier room to have a quiet moment and read a book.
Off the second lounge are the three other bedrooms, separate water closet and main bathroom.
The main bathroom, sporting the same gold, white and terrazzo touches, hosts a shower, sleek bathtub and vanity.
Besides the bathroom is bedroom 3 which consists of a queen bed, two wooden bedside tables, gold lamps, a ceiling fan and built in robe. Followed by bedroom 4 which comprises of a queen bed, two fern green bedside tables fit with lamps, built in robes and an added bonus of a work desk and plush armchair. Off the corner of the living room, you have Bedroom 2 which includes two single kids bunk beds and a built in robe, to sleep four little rascals.

Parking is available for two cars in the driveway and free on street parking, garage will not be available.

The Neighbourhood

The property is located on Copse Way in the ever-growing town of Mount Duneed, with new facilities and shops constantly popping up in the Mount Duneed Shopping Centre which is a 6 minute drive away. Here you can find Coles, Local Marketplaces, Chemist, Hairdressers, Cafes, and Restaurants, with a library on the way and fast food stops along with Dan Murphey’s on entrance. Also close to Copse Way, a 17 min walk or 5 min drive is 9grams café which is adjacent to Bunjils Nest Playground and skatepark, one of my fav spots. Or you have Harmony Park Cubbies Playground a 13 min walk away and Cup Canteen Kombi Coffee a 3 min drive or 20 min walk away where locals love to grab a cub of coffee and catch up. The property is also located smack bang in the middle of Geelong and Torquey, being a 20 minute drive either way.

Getting Around

We would recommend bringing a vehicle to explore Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula, however If you are not bringing your own vehicle there is public transport via the local bus network accessible a 15min walk from the property, where you can catch route 45 Armstrong Creek – Waurn Ponds SC via Waurn Ponds Station or you can walk 30 minutes to the Surf Coast Highway and catch route 50 or 51 Geelong Station – Jan Juc via Marshall. Ubers are also readily available in this area.

A great property in a quite location
We had a large group with two families staying including 5 kids age ranges 3 - 10 and four adults. The property was perfect for our needs, was very quite, clean and had all amenities we needed. Would recommend the property and will highly likely be returning in the future.
