Only 90 min from Ottawa, this property offers 2 units on first and second stories. Total: 6 bedrm and 5 bathrms, 2 kitchens and 2 living rms. The pictures show each unit in its entirety. Experience all that this undiscovered region has to offer! Bike, hike, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard and more! Private beach and yard with fire pit is with this package rental.
NOTE: The 3rd unit in this triplex is optional for additional 2 or 3 guests.

The space
This summer home is for families, friends or colleagues who prefer a quiet, quality get-away to soak in the natural surroundings, enjoy the property and explore the region.

Located in a peaceful quiet community, it is surrounded by long time cottage owners. Our objective is to offer other families the opportunity to gather together for incredible quality family/friend time. We desire to have our guests fully enjoy all aspects of this 1 acre property and of the area.

We appreciate happy, fun noises from our guests during the day. Noisy, unruly gatherings are not permitted on the property or in this space and is strictly enforced. Noisy guests will be asked to leave with NO REFUND.

The outdoor spaces exclusive to our guests (i.e not shared by us) include a backyard, firepit, play structure, lakeview deck with Adirondack chairs and sandy beach. For your enjoyment and as part of your stay, enjoy access to 2 kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboard with life jackets.
A volleyball net can be set up on request.

This updated triplex which was also previously the Auberge des Pins - a summer destination for many families as well as a temporary home to sea plane pilots in years past. The property itself has so much to offer and is amazingly beautiful.

Note: We live on the property and our house is adjacent to the triplex that you will stay at. Rest assured, we respect the privacy of our guests and offer private spaces outdoors that is not shared with us such as backyard, firepit, play structure, beach but are available anytime if you have questions or need anything.

Our dock is for our PERSONAL use, but can accommodate a small boat (up to 18 ft) for guests who wish to boat on Blue Sea Lake. We charge a $20/nt fee for use of the dock. The marina is very close where you can launch your boat. Please inquire about dockage when booking.

Bring your fishing rods and bikes! Blue Sea Lake is known for excellent fishing. You will be only 250m from the popular Velo Quebec/Trans Canada cycling, walking and jogging trail which offers 55km of paved path through forest of pines and along Blue Sea Lake. There are several rest and viewing areas along the path which are truly spectacular! We provide bike racks and a locked area on request.

2 bedroom unit (main floor) pictures: Livingroom #1, kitchen #1 and bedrooms# 1, #2 are located in the main floor 2 bedroom apartment. The bathroom is fully renovated with a bathtub, shower, sink and toilet. Enjoy privacy on the large covered balcony #1.

4 bedroom apt: (2nd floor) pictures: Livingroom #2 kitchen #2, bedrooms -6 and bathrooms #2-#5 are located in the 2nd floor 4 bedroom unit. Each bedroom has a queen bed and a 3 piece ensuite bathroom. Outdoor stairs with a private covered balcony #2 and entrance takes you to this living space. Views of the lake from the livingroom and from 2 of the 4 bedrooms. 2 other bedrooms face the backyard and gardens.

If you need extra space (add'l 3 ppl) for your gathering, the one bedroom studio apartment located at the rear of the main floor of this triplex is ideal for an elderly people. It can be booked separately if it is available. Please go to that VRBO listing to check the calendar for availability and book it using the VRBO calendar for that unit or contact us directly.

However, when the studio unit is not in use by guests, it serves as a personal home office on weekdays.

No loud gatherings are permitted.

We will only approve requests from renters who are 25 or older and have a 5 star guest ratings with previous positive reviews.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING The 3rd unit:

A small main floor studio unit is also available for rent (max 2 adults and 1 child) which may be booked during your stay if it is available. Its entrance is private and is located at the rear of the building and is perfect for elderly couples. It can be booked through VRBO.

Guest access:
You will have access to the firepit (we provide wood), your own BBQ, a large private deck with seating.

If the lower 3rd unit is booked during your stay, you will be sharing the following with these guests (max 3):

- Play structure, beach (100m away), kayaks, canoe, paddleboard.
- Parking area is shared and in front of the building.

- Shared/common deck with Adirondack chairs under the pine trees overlooking the lake.
Other things to note
Our place is situated 250 m from the trans Canada trail that is paved for 50 km along the majestic Blue Sea from Maniwaki to Gracefield. It offers rest areas and lookouts along the picturesque trail.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the variety of options. Golf, hiking trails, biking paths, fishing. Algonquin Golf Course is a popular 18 hole course. Take the family on a fun golf day at Isle Patrie which is geared towards families to golf leisurely with a beach and BBQ area.

Mount Morrisette lookout tower is a favourite attraction for our visitors. The municipal hall is 1km way with tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard at no cost!

Anyone looking for a peaceful stay will enjoy the loon calls, or cozy up to the crackling fire.

There is SO much to explore together as a family!

Bring your bikes! We have bike racks and can offer a covered space to store your bikes on request.

PARKING: There is parking for 4 vehicles in front of the triplex. PLEASE let us know if additional parking is needed for up to 2 additional vehicles. No more than 6 vehicles permitted.

DOCK: It is for private use and not available for guests. For an extra fee of ($20/nt) we will permit docking of a boat/seadoo no larger than 18'. Strict docking rules and dock use will apply.

Washer and Dryer: is available for a fee. Please contact us if you wish to have access to the washer and dryer. A clothesline is on the property for your use.
