Secluded Retro Haven in Fabulous Central Location - perfect for longer stays!

Our sweet retro style apartment offers a ‘home away from home’ experience. It is flooded with light from different angles throughout the day. It has been lovingly renovated with a new kitchen and appliances, a refurbished retro bathroom, gorgeous plantation shutters and new wool carpet. The apartment is private and secluded as it is set at the back of a small apartment block with views of lush green trees during the day and the lights of South Yarra on the horizon as the sun sets in the evening.

Kitchen - A brand new kitchen with a Caesarstone bench top, Asko induction cooktop, Tisira electric oven. Beautiful Marmoleum covers the kitchen floor and adds warmth to the area. There is seating available on comfortable bar stools at the wide kitchen bench for meals, coffee or drinks and a chat. The bench can also be used as a working space.

Open Living - The kitchen area and living area are open plan. A huge floor to ceiling west facing window enables light to flood in to the living area. Plantation shutters provide the ability to control the light in various ways. There are green trees (fig trees) and a vegetable garden in our neighbouring property for the daytime view, while in the evening the lights of South Yarra dot the skyline in the distance. There is a 50 inch Smart TV and seating for four people.

Bedroom - The queen size bed is extremely comfortable. There are solid built in wardrobes with storage for clothing. The bedroom is in a very quiet position and contributes to a restful night of sleeping.

Bathroom - While maintaining the original retro essence, the gorgeous bathroom has been updated to enhance it’s style. It is extremely cute! It has a full bath and a shower over the bath.

Parking and Transport - there is an allocated car park for our apartment. But you don't really need a car as Hawksburn Train Station is a 2 minute walk away and there are many nearby trams and buses.

Our apartment is in a brilliant location - it is within walking distance to so many special places:
- Prahran Aquatic Centre is a 7 minute walk.
- Prahran Market is a 10 minute walk.
- Hawksburn Village is a 5 minute walk.
- The Como Cinema is very close and always has a fantastic selection of movies available.
- Chapel Street is a 5 min walk away, and from there you can wander from South Yarra to Prahran and Windsor or towards the Yarra River and Richmond.
- Toorak Road is a 5 min walk and you can wander to Toorak Village in one direction or towards Melbourne City in the other direction.
