Peaceful, Clean Getaway
This property was in a very quiet family neighborhood. The rooms were clean, easy to check in, and comfortable. A few things that could be improved upon... it describes the kitchen as fully stocked, but there were several things that limited how we prepared Thanksgiving dinner. The house sleeps 8, but there were 4 forks, less than 8 plates, very small skillets, one mixing bowl, basically most of the cupboards were literally bare. There were no kitchen towels. Very clean kitchen, but definitely the most sparsely stocked vrbo we've been in. Felt a little like preparing a meal while camping. Thankfully, we had brought several items ourselves. And strangely, the stove fan vents into the top cupboard? The master bedroom shower door was broken and stuck in half-open, half-closed position. When we arrived, there was a note saying not to move it and the host was aware and would be fixing it. We didn't realize that would mean AFTER we left. Made for some interesting shuffling of towels to shower and not soak the bathroom floor. We are pretty easy going, and enjoyed our stay. Would even stay there again, but would recommend checking on a few things before booking. If those few things were fixed, this is a great place to stay!
