About this property

Gorgeous mountain views 6 min to Pigeon Forge. Pickle Ball, Firepit

Must ask for a permission before bringing dogs.

When you stay at Lookout Point, you will have a front row seat to an unobstructed view of the mountains from a large picture window and the back balcony. You will also have the feeling of being secluded from Pigeon Forge while in reality, you’re only 6 minutes away from The Parkway.

Surrounded by The Smoky Mountains, there are breathtaking views everywhere you look from our property – even the ability to see all the way to the mountains of North Carolina from the bench swing at The Overlook, across from your cabin. This 2 story cabin is a little different, but works well for families or a couple. It has a studio downstairs containing the living room, dining room, kitchen and queen size bed. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with a queen size bed. It sleeps up to 4 guests so come by yourselves, with a small family or another couple.

This cabin is perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary with its big picture window, showing off the mountains, that can be seen from the bed. Relax on the back porch in the morning with your coffee while listening to the birds and at night, be mesmerized by the gorgeous sunset over the mountains while enjoying a glass of wine by the gazebo. You also have a bench swing in front of your cabin.

Lookout Point is located on our property called The Mustard Seed (TMS) and has many amenities to help you relax during your stay like the firepits, bench swings and more. If you have other family and friends who want to join you, this is the perfect location since TMS consists of 8 cabins that are all in walking distance of each other, but not on top of each other, 12 acres that you can walk around, a Pickleball Court (bring your racquets and balls), Chess & Checkers and more to keep you busy while bonding with family and friends. Perfect for a Family Reunion or Destination Wedding (contact Kathryn for Wedding packages and information and for Christian, Special Needs or other Retreat information). We can sleep up to 66 guests overall on the property and look forward to hosting you.

Gorgeous Views of the Smokies

Wonderful spot to stay with my little family and our pup on a road trip through the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. The views were outstanding for these nature lovers and the location was so ideal. We were close to all of the activities in the towns of Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg as well as attractions like Dollywood and of course the Great Smokey Mountains National Parks but just far enough to be removed to not be in the hustle and bustle. The view from our cabin was glorious. Very clean, well maintained property, used for special events. Highly recommend!

Nice stay with beautiful views

Cabin was perfect for our weekend trip to Pigeon Forge. Short drive from parkway with unbelievable views of the mountains and Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed watching NYE island fireworks from the property. It was clean, had all needed amenities and host was great! Had issues with TV but host would of fixed it just didn’t bother calling with it being a short weekend trip

Absolutely perfect!!!

I was so impressed with the cabin and especially the view. The property is up a small hill and is 12 acres. There are 8 cabins in all. Ours was the Lookout cabin and it (and 3 other cabins) are at the very top. From our cabin deck, we sat and watched the sunset. Then as it got dark, we would move to the swing by the picnic tables and look out over Pigeon Forge lights. Also, there was so much space in between the cabins, so that each cabin had privacy. There was also a community gazebo, swing, picnic table, and a small chapel. It was just 2 of us and the owner allowed our 2 dogs to visit too. Our cabin had a main level bedroom/living/shower area with a nice kitchen. Upstairs, there was also a space for 2 additional people. I have already been making plans to come again as soon as we can. These cabins make you feel like you are in the park and looking out over the mountains, but then it is only 5-6 minutes to the Parkway and all the conveniences of Pigeon Forge. It was important to us to have a place that wasn't so commercial because it was a break from our stressful lives. Absolutely wonderful. You will not be disappointed.
