Our family had the best 3 day stay at Jane’s place. This was the best place that we stayed in NZ. Great short access (albeit uphill) to Cathedral Cove walk - this is a must do, even if you take the shuttle to top. Great local spots to eat were Pour House and Church Bistro for an amazing and very tasty dinner. We also found Cooked Mexican at Whitianga which was a gem. Also a great way to visit Whitianga via the ferry (15 min drive from Hahei) from Ferry Landing at Cooks Beach. Great communication right through and would recommend to anyone. Thanks Jane.

Cath was welcoming and helpful before and during our stay! House was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Great value for money and excellent location in a quiet spot in Matarangi.

The photos dont do it justice and there are so many words to describe the views. We were blessed with beautiful warm, sunny days and we spent hours moving between decks to take in the spectacular scenery. Having a BBQ was great as we were there for some nights when Luke’s Kitchen wasnt open, what an asset to a spectacular place. We had long walks on several local beaches and time just flew past. The stars at night were truly amazing as well. We have moved on to another part if beautiful NZ but I am missing this already, its just super special and full credit to the owners for a stunningly designed house with so many creature comforts. Cant wait to return and stay longer.
