We were met at the train station and escorted to the apartment. Michele introduced the apartment and explained all we needed to know plus many more helpful hints and suggestions for our Venice stay. He and his family live in the neighbourhood so he knows it well. Apartment is right on the canal and we could hear and watch the boats and really feel a part of this beautiful city. Apartment was very clean, great size for the two of us and well equipped for all our needs. Foods for breakfast a special treat to save us shopping immediately.
