The architect designed house has 3 bedrooms and a second living area which can be used as a bedroom with two double sofa beds) and 2 bathrooms . There is a flat newly renovated( PERFECT TEENAGERS' RETREAT) )with two single beds DVD .($40 per nt.) with a 3rd bathroom. The backyard is fenced securely. Serendipity is fully equipped to make your holiday easy care and carefree. An afternoon cocktail watching the sun set finishes off a perfect day in paradise. . 3 hrs north of Sydney and just 20min south of Forster. Five minutes from Blueys, Boomerang and Elizabeth Beaches. Local shops within walking distance. Hire a boat, buy some bait, swim water ski or just enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful part of the world. It truly is just another day in paradise. Newly fenced and paved backyard.

Beach, bush walks, fishing, childrens playground , watersports , boating, great restaurants including Buddha Belly Kingfisher & Moby's. The long seven mile surf beach is a natural wonder just minutes away. Don't miss Lizzie and Cileto Beaches. A game of golf at Sandbar is fantastic. Watch the sunset over Smiths Lake or hear the waves on the Sandbar which separates the Lake from the Sea.

The property had everything you needed. Sitting on the balcony, watching the lake, was really restful. The place would suit families with young children, families with teenagers, or two couples .

We stayed at Serendipity over Christmas week and had a great time. The location was fantastic with views of the lake across the road, a cafe on the corner and a short drive to surfing beaches. The accommodation was comfortable and the owners made a special effort to deliver a new freezer on Christmas Eve. The perfect Christmas.

We recently visited Smith Lakes to celebrate a 60th Bday and needed to accommodate 6 adults and 5 children. Serendipity was the perfect house, plenty of room, spacious living areas, modern kitchen and great entertaining area out the back. The house is directly situated opposite a lovely cafe overlooking the water, great coffee too! The kids had a ball frolicking at the waters edge, watching the pelicans diving for fish literally a few feet away. Also the park across the road provided even more fun. The main highlight of our stay would have to be hand-feeding the kookaburras and lorikeets that came and perched themselves out the back. At night the possums made an appearance and to our amazement were not afraid to come close enough to take some apple pieces within arms length! Another highlight was breakfast at The Buddah Restaurant at Mobys, Boomerang Beach. A nice finish to a lovely weekend before heading home. If I had to suggest anything negative it would be that the teenagers retreat/granny flat out the back was a little muggy following the hot days we had, however, since the window & door had a screen we were able to leave them open all night. The main house is air conditioned & upstairs rooms have fans which was great. Overall, I would definitely recommend Serendipity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & the kids had a fantastic time too... Happy kids, happy parents!! We hope to stay again in the future.

Serendipity is an amazing place in an amazing location for anyone looking to relax and unwind! The surroundings of water and wildlife made it perfect to wake up to each morning! The house is modern, spaceous and lovely, one to suit everyones needs and wants for a holiday location. I would definatley reconmend it to anyone enquiring!

What a great weekend! So relaxing by the lake and the playground across the road came in handy too :) For future bookers, there are only 3 bedrooms in the main house and an extra lounge room with sofa beds - took a little working out to sort our sleeping arrangements, but once it was done we thoroughly enjoyed our time away. Great correspondence by owner and Pay-TV was definitely a plus. Thanks Bev!

A very nice place in a perfect location. Nice and quiet, a fantastic place to relax and get away from it all. The only low point I can find (I am being overly picky) is the yard was not secure for our dog. Other than that I can't fault the place. It was exactly what were were looking for.

Our daughter got married at the Green Cathedral on 21st April. As we had some overseas guests to accommodate, we needed to find a holiday house big enough to cope with eight of us and one small dog comfortably. We found this and so much more at Serendipity! It felt like a home away from home and was the perfect place to stay during a hectic pre wedding week. The house was equipped with everything we needed and was bright and homely. Each morning the views of the water lifted our spirits and the ease of access to the lake made our stay totally stress free.

We had a wonderful weekend at your beautiful holiday house. The house even better than it looks on the photos. It was the perfect accommodation for a group holiday with the large dining areas and great cooking facilities. At the end of our days at the beach, we just looked forward to coming back and relaxing.

We had a group of 10 who did not wish to go to surfers paradise for schoolies. We all came to an agreement that this is exactly what we wanted. A quiet location with great accommodation for 10 young people. This place had everything we needed and i would highly recommend this property to anyone who is enquiring. I booked Serendipity, when we were invited to a friend's 40th birthday party on Smiths Lake. We stayed with three other couples for the first weekend in September. The location was wonderful, a pebble stone's throw away from the lake shore with magnificent views out onto the water. Look out for the pelicans, perched on the mooring posts! With four couples, we had to juggle the bathrooms a little, but it was well worth it for us all to be together in the one, homely and comfortable setting. Everything we needed was on hand - including a BBQ and even a dishwasher. The owners were extremely accommodating, allowing one couple in our party to bring their two dogs for a small supplement. Everybody commented on what a wonderful setting it was - both the house and Smiths Lake. I'm sure we'll be back. Highly recommended and especially great value if you are sharing the place.

We stayed for 10days and it was a working holiday.. The girls in the office loved the brk away from Sydney and the large table was great to work from...
Our dog had the best time playing in the sand. Dogs should be treated for ticks before coming up to play..
People should be treated for stress before they play, as once they stay, they will want to stay for a long time.. Its so nice to wake up to the sound of peace and clean air...
The house, is excellent, the kitchen has all you need.. There are shops up the road, so making dinner each day is easy..
Winter time was no problem, as the house get's quite warm.. Lovely place to stay..

I stayed at Serendipity with a group of friends before I was married. We had a great time. I returned with my wife and three children. I found it was just as I remembered it in the most beautiful part of the world. The house is in the perfect position and the children just loved swimming and playing on the beach. My wife and I found it so relaxing. Serendipity is fantastic.

We had the most wonderful time. The pictures on this website did not lie- Serendipity was just what we needed. We were able to bring our pet dog, and we enjoyed having breakfast each morning on the balcony overlooking the lake. Just beautiful. Forster town centre was a 20 min drive away, and Serendipty had everything else we needed. would stay there again!
