LOCATION

Trinity Beach is located north of Cairns, just 15 minutes from the airport and is referred to as The Northern Beaches of Cairns, which stretches for approximately 26 kms along a Sunny Coastline commencing at the northern fringe of the city. The Northern Beaches incorporates Machan"s Beach, Holloways Beach, Yorkey"s Knob, Trinity, Kewarra, Clifton, Palm Cove and Ellis Beaches.

Trinity Beach is safely nestled between two headlands, providing an ideal bay in which to enjoy relaxing pursuits along its palm-fringed shores. You can just lay and enjoy soaking up the Queensland sun, build sand castles with the kids or experience some of the popular beach activities on offer. If you get enough of that then there is always exploring the many tours that depart Trinity Beach daily. Trinity Beach is an ideal base to explore Far North Queensland for a couple of reasons. It"s central to many Cairns attractions such as the Skyrail gondola, wildlife parks, Port Douglas, and Cairns city.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Beach, fishing, golf course, shops, resorts, & restaurants are all within a short distance of your accommodation. In many ways, its the perfect spot for a quiet break or a full on reef and rainforest holiday. Regular buses call in at the Beach for trips to all the main destinations. Alternatively, hire cars are readily available and you can make up your own itinery.

You can choose to spend your day exploring the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest, the temperate Atherton Tablelands, Kuranda, or the Cape Tribulation Wilderness.

You may also wish to visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Theatre, which is half way to Cairns City, or the Tropical Zoo which is literally minutes drive away.
