'The Pines' is a lovingly restored federation home set on a working dairy farm in the hills above Kiama. Located on Saddleback Mountain, the house has a panoramic view of the ocean and surrounding farm land. 'The Pines' has been fully renovated and boasts a large, open plan kitchen (fully equipped), modern bathroom and ensuite, 3 large bedrooms (Master bedroom with queen bed, 2nd bedroom with queen bed and 3rd bedroom with 2 singles), large dining and living rooms, beautiful gardens, outdoor dining area and secure parking. We have recently added a fully ducted air-conditioning system which allows for climate control throughout the house!
'The Pines' was built at the end of the 19th century and has been in the same dairy-farming family ever since. The property has many original features including the heritage rock walls, which are a popular tourist attraction. Only a 3 minute drive from Kiama's beautiful beaches and town centre, a scenic 20 minute drive to the township of Berry, or a 10 minute drive to Jamberoo, "The Pines" offers you all the attractions of the south coast at your doorstep whilst staying in a country retreat.
As part of the upgrade 'The Pines' is now eco-friendly, running on Wind power and Solar hot water. We hope that by making these changes the farm will be sustainable for many generations to come!

We felt privileged to stay at The Pines. The house has been sympathetically renovated, and it has a real serenity and sense of history about it. It is comfortable and spacious and the garden (a work in progress) is delightful already. The views are stunning and the silence was very welcome to us jaded surbanites. Thank you to Mahlah and Kel for making the whole process easy and personal. We can't wait to return.

Accommodation is beautifully renovated and comfortably restored and very clean. Well equipped kitchen; fantastic views; close to shops and beach; quiet location; loved the tour of the farm and the kids enjoyed feeding the calves. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a holiday with a difference - our kids loved it. We stayed 2 nights could easily have stayed a week. Excellent hosts!!! thank you!

Fantastic family farmstay! Very clean, spacious and well equipped. The view is really spectacular, with the mountains leading into the ocean - hard to beat. The owners are really friendly and helpful (but not intrusive), and let us see up close what dairy farming is about, and the kids (both big and small!) got a go at hand feeding a newborn calf. The kids loved running around on the well kept front lawn and swinging on the swing with a fabulous view. We all enjoyed the lovely gardens. Being all on one level, with lots of space and breakables up high makes it very kid and toddler friendly. It's only a 5 minute drive into Kiama where you can find lots of lovely places to eat and great places to swim. I'm just so thankful for the lovely time we had here, I'm sure you will enjoy it too.

This is the most amazing house in the most beautiful location. A modern cottage set amidst lush green rolling countryside but also with fantastic views up and down the coastline (5min tops to beach). For our family who likes both the country and the surf you cant get better. The old cottage has been refreshed enough to be trendy, comfortable and convenient but still retains stacks of old charm. Great kitchen facilities too if you like to cook. Last but not least, Kel and Mahlah, the owners, are A1 at customer service and hospitality. The free tour off the still used diary farm on the property at 4pm milking time was a treat for the kids (just ask).

This truly is the most magical property. We have now stayed here twice, both in summer and autumn and love everything about it. The property is a very quick drive to the beach and township of Kiama but being on a farm is also a quiet and relaxing retreat in arguably the most stunning countryside in New South Wales. The house itself is beautifully renovated and a joy to spend time in. We have already booked to come again!
