This big! big! big! full-floor Penthouse is in a small luxury 4.5 star resort with four pools including great kiddies pool and large turbo spa.
It is right in central Airlie Beach so you don't need a car or expensive taxis. Just a short walk to the main street nightlife, shops, restaurants, clubs, swimming lagoon, and beach.
The Penthouse has amazing unspoilt views of the Whitsunday Passage, Coral Sea and Islands.
Beware of advertised ocean-fronts. There is not one waterfront property in Airlie Beach where you can swim from your accommodation. There are always rocks or a cliff edge or a main road between you and the Ocean. Check you have a swimming pool and air conditioning before booking any accommodation or you could be unpleasantly surprised.
The Penthouse is twice the size of most Airlie Beach three bedroom units and so is fantastic value for the price.
You have a gourmet kitchen complete with dishwasher and microwave.
There is a large covered balcony with all weather dining area and your own Weber barbeque. There is also a large very private terrace for sunbaking. It has a northerly aspect which is essential up here in the tropics.
There are three spacious bedrooms, two Queen and one Twin. The master bedroom has a large ensuite with corner spa bath twin basins and its own large private balcony.
Of course there is air conditioning and ceiling fans in all rooms.
Local phone calls are free.
There is a lockup garage close by for your convenience although you do not need a car in this location.
There is also a full size laundry with washer dryer and tub and a huge hot water tank so you will never run out of hot water.
There are four pools including Spa and an excellent kiddies pool. There is also a waterfall feature visible from your unit.
Why should you choose to stay at The Penthouse?
It is the largest apartment in Airlie Beach available for holiday accommodation. Several web sites actually show photos of my Penthouse as it is superior to what they have to offer.
The Penthouse is extremely private. It even has its own curved staircase to its own private entrance.
Your double lockup garage is conveniently located close to your front door. Most resorts have just a carspace often a long way from your unit.
The Penthouse still has spectacular unspoilt Coral Sea views. Many of the resorts have lost their views and just face the cranes and buildings of the 7 year Port of Airlie construction site.
Beware of so called 'water fronts'. You cannot swim in the ocean from any property in Airlie Beach. So make sure there is a pool before you book.
Location and how to get there.
You can jet into Hamilton Island and cruise across to the mainland. Or fly into Proserpine which is less than 30 minutes drive from airlie.
Shuttle buses meet all flights into Proserpine or you can hire a car at the airport and drop it off in Airlie. For a good price ring Hertz in Airlie .
If you are fly into Proserpine I can book a Limo to meet you, or there is a taxi desk at the airport.

With a bad start to our holiday with Tiger Airways being grounded, we decided to drive the 2500 kilometres. It was wonderful to reach our destination and have such a lovely place to stay in. The views are spectacular and the facilities in the resort are great. The weather gods shone on us too, which was much appreciated for a holiday in July. Our 2nd stay at the Penthouse & it is as fantastic as it was 2 years ago! Very
roomy, light & clean, the BEST views in town and only a short stroll to main shops & restaurants. All facilities, pools, spa, etc are beautiful. Hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay in this huge, light-filled apartment What a great place to stay in winter! Plenty of room for our family of 7 adults. Just a quick walk down hill to shops (Bit steep on the way back - good exercise) Fabulous view from both balconies. We loved it!

The Airlie Beach Penthouse was excellent.
I would recommend it to others and will definitely want to stay there the next time we visit Airlie Beach. We had teenagers with us who loved the pools, we could easily walk into town (then slowly back up the hill). My youngest always complains if the standard is not 4 star and she loved it...!!
