Here you can soak away your cares in our large outdoor therapeutic spa set in a delightful courtyard garden.

We are located in the heart of Margaret River town, and only minutes walk from the cafes, shops and galleries in Margaret River's main street.

This self contained retreat has its own entrance, and is located as a private annexe in the rear section of our spacious older style Margaret River home. It has been creatively renovated with attention to space and design, ensuring a number of private indoor and outdoor spaces for your relaxation. We only take one booking at a time to ensure your privacy and relaxation.

Your hosts, Dorothy and Greg, live in the front section of the home and can be called upon with any queries or requests to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

The retreat provides flexible accommodation options for four guests. Two of the bedrooms have a queen bed. The third room has a double bed and can also be used as a sitting room. The sun room/ living room includes a large day bed for a fourth single guest.

Both the bed/sitting room & the sun room have French doors leading to the outdoor living areas: The deck and barbecue area overlooking the courtyard; the covered dining area & the private outdoor spa. Soft oriental night lighting creates a warm, inviting ambience in the outdoor areas.

The modern bathroom has a deep luxurious bath as well as a shower. The outdoor shower is conveniently located to shower off beach sand before relaxing in the spa.

The small galley kitchen includes basic conveniences needed for a short stay holiday, including: a cooktop; microwave oven; fridge/freezer & quality cookware & crockery. This European style kitchen also includes a washing machine.

The kitchen is stocked with all basic condiments as well as tea, coffee, jams, spreads and cereals. Guests are also invited to select any fresh produce from the herb and vegetable garden to add to their breakfasts.

The house has reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you warm and cozy in winter, & cool in summer.

Pricing & Location

Low Season Prices:
Low Season applies to all dates not in the Mid or High Season. Prices start at $220 per night for two people, with $40 extra for each extra person.j (Maximum of 4 people.)

Pricing
Mid Season Prices:
Mid Season applies to January after the New Year, as well as long weekends. Prices start at $250 per night for two people, with $50 extra for each extra person. (Maximum of 4 people.)

High Season Prices;
High Season applies to the Easter Long Weekend, the Leeuwin Long Weekend and the period between Christmas and New Year. Prices start at $300 per night for two people, with $50 extra for each extra person. (Maximum of 4 people.)

We have a minimum two night stay on weekends, and a minimum three night stay on long weekends.

Location
Entering Margaret River on the Bussell Highway (from Busselton) turn left into Willmott Avenue at the Corner Bar of the Margaret River Hotel, then take the second right into Le Souef Steeet. Margaret River House & Spa Retreat is at number 45 is on your left hand side. Park in the parking bay under the shade sail, and enter your apartment through the double gates down the driveway to the rear of the house. There is a sign on the door and solar lights at night to guide you. Information for obtaining the key will be given when you make your booking.

Special Features

This beautiful older style house offers many thoughtfully designed spaces to relax in all seasons, including the private outdoor spa set in an "Asian" courtyard which is as much a treat under the winter night sky; as it is refreshing on a Summer afternoon; and can provide hours of fun for children. The timber deck overlooking the oriental garden & fountains provides extra living space for families and couples; & the bed/sitting room & sun room are pleasant sun lit areas for reading, listening to music, or watching TV.

The bedrooms are designed for maximum comfort & style, A high quality of towels and linen are supplied.

All provided soaps are guaranteed to be made from natural ingredients & free from harmful chemicals.

There is a television and DVD player in the main bedroom, as well as in the living area. The Post Office & an internet cafe are located on the next street. There is also free wireless access at the Margaret River Tavern.

From the house, it is only a few minutes walk to town, as well as the Margaret River where you can choose from a number of spectacular forest walks.

Margaret River's famous beaches are an easy drive from the house, and the retreat is only a few minutes walk to Margaret River’s coffee strip with its bars, music and interesting shops. Winery tours can be also be arranged with pick up and drop off at the house.

Please note that this property accommodates a maximum of 4 guests. We request that our guests enjoy the spa in the evening and maintain a quiet ambience after 9.00pm.

Nightly rates are quoted for two guests. The cost for extra guests is shown on the table below. We also offer a 10% discount on bookings of 4 nights or longer. Please note that there is a minimum two night stay on weekends.
