GAS HEATING ----For the sometimes, fresh Springtime evenings. Go for strolls along the beach to the lighthouse, the boatramps or perhaps into town. Don't forget to take along a good book, your favourite games, your CD's or DVD's and now your in for a great break away. Video & DVD Hire in town or tune into Austar.

Forty Towels is about 10 - 15 metres from the beach and is excellently situated for RELAXING, table tennis, surfing, fishing, boating, walking, cycling, tennis, bird watching, golfing (in nearby Nowra & area) etc. "Did I say RELAXING?"

Forty Towels has a well equiped kitchen and refurbished bathroom. The home has 4 bedrooms and is suitable for 2 families or 3 couples as it comfortably accommodates up to 9 people and offers 3 queen, (2 of these are new) 2 singles, 1 king single and a sofa bed. A cot is also available.

You will need to bring your own towels and bed linen. Pillows and blankets are provided.

The beach is a short stroll away from the front door and pets are allowed on the beach.

22.9.08 Hello Jan, I just wanted to send you an email to say a very big THANK YOU. We had a lovely relaxing weekend and really loved the house. It is just gorgeous, very comfortable and everything there that you need. Thanks also for the champagne, very nice touch. Our son loved the big backyard as did the dogs, as well as the close proximity of the beach. My parents in law really loved the house and said that they would love to return, as would we. We will also be highly recommending it to other family and friends as well.

24.12.07 ....Had a great week at Forty Towels with our friends and our dog last week!
We've stayed in a number of dog-friendly houses on the South Coast over the past four years and Forty Towels is our favourite.
It is perfectly set up for holiday stays: Lots of space, easy care flooring, well-equipped kitchen and lounge, comfortable beds, perfect garden for dogs, and the table-tennis table is the icing on the cake!
This was our second visit to Forty towels and on both occasions we were impressed by the cleanliness of the house on arrival.
We look forward to staying at Forty Towels again soon. ...Evie

26.6.07 Hi Jan, just a quick note to say thank you for a truly relaxing weekend.
The weather was idyllic, warm and not a breath of wind, and a marked
contrast to the ( much needed) rain we escaped from and returned too.
I wait in hope of seeing a migrating whale though.

18.4.07 Dear Jan, I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for allowing us to rent your gorgeous house at Culburra again. I mean't to write earlier but have been so busy adjusting to coming back to the real world.
We all, including Inzi and Sach - actually...especially Inzi and Sach had a GREAT time. I know the girls gave the rabbits a run for their money as they spent hours every day out chasing around. Anthony surfed every day and I swam most days. We were really lucky with the weather with never a moment when we wished we weren't there.
Thanks again so much. We'll be sure to try and book again later in the year

4.1.07 Well...What can we say!...We have just spent the very BEST holiday ever at your holiday home!!

Jan, with such excitement our family have voted Culburra as the # 1 holiday destination - we had the most relaxing holiday staying in a holiday home which rates by far Five Star accommodation - We had so many people taking down your phone number for Holiday Letting and they also asked us what the house was like inside!! Hopefully you will receive many bookings.

As I mentioned Jan we had another family of 4 stay with us and they also could not stop commenting on how your home was too good to be holiday accommodation - From the furnishings to the huge kitchen and balcony where we spent most of the time we found the location of your home to be the best spot to be in Culburra.

I would like to say Thank you so much for the Champagne and the Doggie Treats for our Ruby who had the run of the huge backyard and she thoroughly enjoyed her daily swims and walks on the beach - your neighbours were very friendly people - Jackie was also wonderful and very informative of things in Culburra.

Thank you Jan from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home!! - We hopefully will rebook again with you in the future for a longer period.

31.10.06 I just wanted to thank you for letting us stay at your gorgeous house at Culburra. We arrived back at lunch time today and have just finished unpacking / washing etc and facing the reality of life back in the fast lane! The girls (inz and sach) had an absolute ball!!! and already they are looking so depressed at the thought of no more rabbit chases across your street! Anthony was out surfing and boogie boarding every day...and I even braved a swim or two! (Anthony had dolphins playing in the waves around his surfboard one day..it was magical!)

Anyway..you have your house set up so well - so thoughtful with the champagne and doggie treats ! We will definately try and get back down early in the new year if available. I think I might have told you we have stayed at a few different houses in Culburra and Currarong and yours is by far the BEST! We just loved it.

3.9.06.....I had a truely relaxing weekend and weather warm enough for swimming. The house was very comfortable. and I know the kids will love it when we visit in December. Especially the ping pong table. All the best Karen

3rd Jan 06 We just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our stay at the house & look forward to staying again in the future.

The house was beautifuly clean & in good order & we appreciated the little touches - such as having loo paper on arrival. The balcony is lovely to sit out on & you were quite right about not needing the fans with such a wonderful cool breeze of an evening. Thank you for the wine & Millie thanks you for the treats.
