There's even exclusive side access and parking for your boat, with a launch ramp for it on the beach opposite.

Take a refreshing swim in the tranquil waters of Sylvan Beach just opposite your doorstep where the sea is calm enough for safe family swimming. Shops and restaurants are close by, or walk two minutes to the seaside cafes where you can watch the antics of the pelicans as you eat. You may like to drop in to the seafood market next door for the freshest of oysters and prawns.

Seventy per cent of Bribie Island is a flora and fauna reserve so it offers unique opportunities for those interested in bushwalking or bird watching. Explore 50 kilometres of white sandy beaches, freshwater lagoons and heath lands abounding with wildlife.

Take a sunset cruise with the dugongs or a four wheel drive adventure up the ocean beach at Woorim, recently voted the best beach for kite buggying in South East Queensland. Play a round of golf on the nearby 18-hole golf course, go beach fishing or hire a boat for the day to explore the island at your own pace. Alternatively just sit back and enjoy the beautiful Queensland sunshine and sea view with a cold drink and a good book.
