Situated on the Surf Coast, Fischer’s Retreat is a classic beach house with a contemporary twist thats perfect as a getaway destination for those looking to escape the rat race. Located in old Torquay, only 500m from the beach and close to all that Torquay has to offer; it features large decks and yard and all the modern amenities required for relaxation and entertainment.
Fischer’s Retreat was designed for entertaining with a focus on outdoor living with the dining room’s bi-fold doors opening onto a large deck. A large private yard is ideal for children to play securely or just to relax on the lawn. The house features separate dining and living areas with and offers views of both ocean and bushland. There are three spacious bedrooms, two with Queen beds and the third with two singles, all with inbuilt robes. There are two modern bathrooms, one with a spa-bath for maximum relaxation.
The living room features a large flat-screen TV, Blu-ray/DVD player and a Nintendo Wii thats perfect for some light entertainment. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi access to keep the whole family connected to the internet.
Fischer’s Retreat is a great holiday home that’s perfect for all seasons. Whether it’s for entertainment or relaxation, there’s something for everyone. Sleeps up to six people comfortably in one of Australia’s great holiday spots.
House Layout
Fischer's Retreat is comfortably spread over three levels. The ground level comprises one bedroom with queen bed, flat screen TV, walk-in-robe and adjoining study.
Elevated from the ground are bedrooms two and three, one containing a queen bed and the other a set of bunks. Both rooms feature built in robes and open onto a decking area. The kitchen, laundry and dining room are also on this level, with the dining room opening onto an expansive deck with outdoor seating, umbrella and BBQ facilities.
The lounge room is situated on the upper level, looking over the front yard and with great views across Deep Creek nature reserve.

There are large decks surrounding the property to capture the sun at all times of the day. There is also a large shade umbrella, guest seating and BBQ facilities provided.
A stereo system is provided, complete with indoor and outdoor speakers and iPod/MP3 connectivity. Flat-screen TVs are located in both the main bedroom and living area.
Hydronic heating in all rooms keeps the house cosy all year round, with air conditioning putting a chill on things during the summer months.
The house is located close to the beach, local tennis courts and playground and is walking distance to Torquay's best restaurants, pubs, cafe's, supermarkets as well as the surf shops.
Please note that bed linen is provided. However you will need to bring your own bath and beach towels.
This is a non-smoking property and no pets please.
