  • "This place is just beautiful. Idyllic is the best word to describe our stay here. The views are spectacular, the accommodation is very comfortable, Michelle and Howard are wonderful hosts, and Joey (the wonder-dog) was a great tour guide of the property. One of the best stays we've ever had."
    Lea, September 2008

  • "Super cute cabin with wonderful host on a secluded farm. It had everything you will need for a little getaway in Tasmania, which is was one of our favourite stops while in Australia. A must see with its beautiful country side and cute town. The cabin was wonderfully heated with a wood stove that was always lite for our daily return and there were wonderful touches like home made bread and jams for breakfast and cozy beds with electric warmers and down quilts. I absolutely loved the bathroom with its antique fixtures. A wonderful place to relax."

  • "Home away from home.Nice quiet environment-away from the hectic city life. My kids loved mucking around with the wallubies at dusk."
    WILLARD, May 2008

  • "A little far from town but lovely people and a lovely property. Only wish we had more time to stay. They backed us fresh bread and picked us fresh herbs to cook with. Fantastic!"
    Tegan, May 2008

  • "We had a fantastic peaceful stay. Michelle and Howard were both friendly and our kids loved playing with the animals. Being out all day and coming home in the evenings to a beautiful warm fire, and the whole room smelling of our freshly baked bread, what more could you ask for. A beautiful piece of Tasmania. Thankyou."
    Darian and Shannon, April 2008

  • "Comfortable accomodation with very friendly hosts.Freshly baked bread and invitation to veggie garden was a nice extra. Excellent value. "
    PAULA, February 2008

  • "What a great place to stay. Easy to find and surrounded by lots of lovely wineries and the gorgeous lavender farm. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The boys loved being able to explore the farm which they could do safely without us - an extra bonus. The dog was very friendly as were the peacocks. The homebaked bread and homemade jam were nice touches. We were sad to leave. Well worth the price. Scottsdale and Bridport and nice places to visit for the day and have lovely shops. We will go back again one day!"
