This includes stunning white sandy beaches and the Manning River 6 km South at Harrington. Crowdy is a good 20km from the main highway, guaranteeing your privacy

Lighthouse Views is a comfortable 4 hour drive North of Sydney (340km) or 2.5 hrs from Newcastle along the M2/ Pacific Highway.
The surrounding hinterland and Manning Valley offer a variety of spectacular drives (accessible via car) and local attractions via Pristine rainforests. Some of the local attractions include:-

Known as the palm beach of the North Coast and Fishermans Paradise, Crowdy offers spectacular deep sea, estuary, beach and rock fishing. Access to the open sea is very easy with the new boat ramp at crowdy head harbour.
It is one of the best fishing villages on the Eastern Sea Board, and only 12 miles from the continental shelf, where very large Marlin are caught frequently.
Common targeted species (in abundance) are Jewfish, snapper, flathead, john dory, bream and morwong. The rock platforms offer an abundance of Abalone, Lobster, crabs and oysters and spectacular snorkelling and spear fishing.
Charter fishing trips are available at Crowdy Head.
Crowdy Head harbour is an ideal safe fishing area. It is also home to a rather large blue groper, Manta ray and sea turtles. Dolphins can be seen playing in the harbour and near by on most days.
With two pristine sandy white beaches, 1 to the North (14km length) and the other to the South (6km length),
offer a safe haven for swimming and some spectacular surfing breaks.
Forster (south) and Port Macquarie (north) are equidistant from Crowdy Head and offer all the big city attractions. Harrington (6 km south) has a bowling club, pub, shops, restaurants, golfcourse, river, rockwalls.
To the West is the Middle brother mountain range (via Crowdy Bay National park).
